Dishonorable Kills for Lowbie Killing Scum

Classic will have dishonorable kills. But I think they only apply to NPCs not low level characters.

I haven’t purchased the World of Safespaces expansion yet. How is it?

My safespace isn’t secure enough. Please send help.

Isn’t that the point of warmode? PvP combat on equal footing, rather than a bunch of smelly gankers.

Add me to the list as well, some nights that’s all I do, run around and gank people in hopes of igniting some good pvp brawls. If you’re WM on you’re fair game baby…working as intended

Then turn Warmode off. It’s not hard. PvP happening with PvP mode on? That’s crazy…

You sound like a fun guy, even if you’re a smelly ganker.

I wanna be a Mechano-Ganker

Any bonus you gain from leveling in warmode is never worth running back to your corpse.

Your never going to win the argument. A good portion of people don’t care what the level is, red is dead to some.

I’ve officially written off PVP for the foreseeable future, so forgive my ignorance.

Does scaling no longer cause 115s to just curbstomp people anymore?

My idea is that people are free to kill low levels as many times as they want. But it’s not free after the first kill. The more times you kill someone, the greater the discrepancy in levels, you will begin to accrue a fine in gold. The fine is paid directly to the victim for the inconvenience you have caused them.

And while the cost would be insignificant to many high level players, it might be very significant and useful to some low level who got camped.

Should a high level player run out of gold, they would no longer be able to kill low levels more than once. After that first kill the lowbies would be fully immune.

I can see the multi boxers now. Sitting 5 lowbies next to a gy to farm gold.

Well, the gold would -still- have to come from themselves. So that wouldn’t work.

Not anymore, no. You can get oneshot by a chaos bolt if the 120 is geared enough.

Because Blizz doesn’t believe in punishing people for engaging in combat with other players, especially because at the level differences you quoted, you can get honor from it. That 120 trolling you in the process of eventually killing / camping you is part of the hazard of warmode, a voluntary mode that you opt into willingly.

In short - pvp happened in warmode.

You’re one of those not-so-fun people.

I’ve stated that I acknowledge what you sign up for in warmode – just focus on the actual concept rather than being cool.

It’s not about being cool. You’re asking for Blizz to unnecessarily punish players who have grinded out honor levels for actually taking out someone worth an honorable kill. There’s nothing fun about that from a design perspective, nor would I wish for anyone to go through that regardless of circumstance.

But what’s honorable about ganking someone who’s incapable of fighting fairly?

Nothing!

Blizz feels differently, which is why you are worth honor.

It made sense back at launch, when 120s were weaksauce. Now they’re just monsters – and nobody can deny that.

So, whether Blizz thinks so or not – it is not fair nor honorable.

There is always a pvp solution to a pvp problem. If you get ganked by someone who is impossible to take out for whatever reason, you can ask in general for assistance. Surely, others will be willing to help put down the big bad dishonorable schmuck.

You’re right about that! But it’d still be pretty satisfying to know that there’s -some- repercussion for ganking someone in such a dishonorable way.

It’d just dissuade people from going after lowbies explicitly rather than engaging with max-level people. (Or not, depending on what type of person you are.)
