That I have to wait over a year to get the Kalimdor/Eastern Kingdoms Drake Racing Set?
I think at this point, time gating stuff this harshly isn’t a good idea. There’s an argument that it can be seen as similar to holiday stuff, which is once a year, but in this case it’s well beyond and holiday transmogs are relevant for said holiday, the racing sets aren’t.
I think they should open the ability to purchase all the sets when each cup comes around even if you can’t race said cup until it’s time for that cup.
It’s just really annoying, I wanted this transmog set for my hunter and only now am I finding out I can’t get it until 2027 - yep, 202*7*
I said that while it could be seen as a holiday event in some respects, I also then went onto say that it isn’t and nor should it be for other reasons.
I also implied that some of the cups being more than a full year locked out is egregious, which it is.
I didn’t misinterpret anything. It is a holiday event. It’s part of the calendar events as it should be.
And you ignored where I said that it should probably be available more than once a year.
Turbulent Timeways is more than once a year. That’s a holiday event. Other calendar events are more than once a year. People have been asking for Trial of Style to be up more often, as well.
Cups could be similar. Though if they add more, then that would prove difficult to have them up more than once a year.
But to fix the transmog issue if they have more Cups, they can just allow the vendor for every Cup to have all of the transmogs available for purchase and change them into ensembles.

Second, it’s not a holiday in the same way other holidays are. Drake racing happens multiple times a year and Winter Veil doesn’t. There’s no reason why the sets should be locked for 1+ years the way they are.
when it absolutely is timegating because there’s no justifiable reason why the purchase ability shouldn’t be available more often than time spanning >1 year.

Edit to add: I even gave an idea of how they should add all of the rewards to all of the Cup vendors, but he won’t read that far to see said ideas about how to make the rewards better to get and Cups more often.
I mean, thats just how these games are. I keep forgetting to do the Holiday Meta cheevos for the Proto Drake, which I have always wanted, I just keep forgetting. I have to accept that, we all need to accept we will never get everything we want in these types of games.
