Should I instead maximize what he said, which isn’t really pertinent to thread btw, that I’m seeking some kind of echo chamber? News: I’m not.
I dismissed the other dracthyr for trying to argue semantics about it being a holiday when that’s not even the point. The point is that the time is egregious especially since it extends beyond a full year currently when I can’t really see a good reason for it to be.
I’m not saying it should be available year round, make it quarterly, twice a year even, but the fact that it’s unavailable in all of 2026 is quite insane.
The calendar often updates events with major content patches. I’d suggest checking it again every patch to see if it changes.

I hope it does, last time I checked (a month ago?) the Kalimdor cup was slated for february. Now it’s not even in 2026 or eastern kingdoms.
I don’t think anyone is in favor of that.
So people can say I want an echo chamber, but idc, I think that’s a BIT much.
At one point in Dragonflight there was a Pandaria and Broken Isles cup scheduled as well, but those never came to be.
Just have to wait and see. I doubt the Cup Events are even remotely on Blizzard’s radar right now.

Yet you ignored them when they agreed it should happen more than once a year AND change how the sets work so they are available during every race event.

It seems like a thing they sort of dropped. Since it’s not even new content, I don’t see the reason not to make it more accessible.

I have concerns the races will be going away. K’aresh didn’t have any (besides 1 for a quest) and they could have done some pretty neat things since we’re capable of flying under the fragments of K’aresh.
Midnight beta doesn’t even have any achievements for completing races in each zone, only the glyph hunter achievements. Don’t see any world quests for them either.
I’ll be sad if the races aren’t continuing. They’re fun world quests.
I actually think having special events only come around once a year makes them special. Even if I miss out, that’s just a consequence of not playing or doing what was required when it was available. I’ll just get it next year, or never. But then, I’m not a “I want what I want, and I want it now!” Kind of person.
Nor am I, or anyone who disagrees with you that type of person.
I’m just the sort of person who realizes that waiting over a year for something like this is needlessly long. I’m happy to wait a reasonable amount of time.

That’s why I think that we’d see more when they start adding more Cups for all of the expansions. And add all transmogs all vendors as ensembles.

It is currently an annual event. So, by definition, if you miss out and you’ll be waiting a year for the next shot at it. Call it a Holiday Event or whatever. Yes, it’s semantics. But words are important. Especialy in an MMO. Current cycle is annual. Like MANY other events in the game. Plan ahead.
