Disgusted by Blizzard and Lay-offs

So having a working brain is being a shill? Ok then. Thanks for letting me know.

When you grow up, come back and tell us your secret to breaching a contract and not getting sued for that + more.

It’s obvious that people who have no experience working in a leadership position inside of a large company has no idea wtf they’re talking about when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Imagine signing a contract for 200m at the expense of your employees.

Imagine thinking this is a rare occurrence.

Want it to change? Vote out lawmakers who make it possible.

For 200 million I could sign it, hire me

I think anyone saying they wouldn’t is probably lying to themselves.

Everything is rigged, votes don’t matter.

If you read the article it wasn’t 190, it was “less than 190 or less than 2% of the staff”

Oh you are one of those.

Moving along then…

If you don’t like contributing to the wealth of corporations you have two options, don’t give them your money or elect politicians who would try and change the playing field.

I would point out he’s not getting 200mil cash its in shares he cant touch until he leaves. This is the corp world number 1 tax dodge the company buys those shares back over time at the value they were given.
As for the layoffs not unexpected the expansion is a total bust as far as the financial reports have been going classic is the top earner in subs.

And not once is that a quote from Blizzard. All they said was “less than two percent” and you latched onto the article saying “maybe 190, if we know math and want it to sound bad!”

His bonus has ZERO to do with Blizzard’s priorities. Please go do some research. I even posted links for you.

WRONG. It’s people with actual facts of how things work, telling the uninformed how wrong they are.

“Disgusted”

Good click bait word but are you really disgusted? Like you saw the story and bile rose in the back of your throat as feelings of contempt and loathing washed over you?

Nah. You saw the story and thought to yourself “that sucks but I bet I could get some likes posting about it”.

What’s worse a business doing business things or a person using 200 people losing their jobs for a pittance of internet clout?

Layoffs weren’t related to normal wow goings on, they were in esports, specifically live events.

Mostly OWL and CoD league.

Yea they banked on esports and its been a flop all around tbh, I still dont know why they continue to beat the cod dead horse over and over. Just how many games are there now?

Because CoD is one of the most profitable games on market.

It’s the third best selling franchise of all time.

Breaking news, a US business is doing US business

Didnt say it didnt have a fanbase the esport though was mostly doa, Activiblizz dont understand that people watch gamers not for the game but the personality. Only time Ive ever seen an esport game being talked about was one starcraft match, mostly because of the girl playing the match lol.

Now seems like a good time to cancel subs if you disagree with the way they run the company the only thing greedy corporations understand is money.

He would of gotten the bonus regardless if 1 or 1000 employees got laid off or not. The board and Bobby both agreed to a binding contract , that the board had to honor no matter what .

Whether you like the situation or not is irrelevant .A signed contract is legal and binding .
