I posted yesterday about this but I haven’t received any feedback from Blizzard. This has been occurring periodically since the last weekly reset but it has been extreme for the past 2 days. Its made the game unplayable because I am disconnected every few minutes.
Diagnostics that have already been performed:
- Contacted ISP which performed diagnostics on the new lines that were installed as well as on the equipment. All working as expected.
- Reset modem numerous times & connected hardwire. All working as expected with all other applications, websites and games
- Flushed DNS & renewed IP
- No other apps running & no other devices using bandwidth
- Ran MTR/Traceroute… results show 1000+ms latency on Blizzard server in the Netherlands(?) all others under 70ms…I’m in the USA so I don’t understand the hop to Europe
- Tried to open a ticket to Blizzard but receive a response that Blizzard isn’t accepting tickets for this matter at this time. How is this acceptible?
I cannot post the MTR results in the forum due to the forum restriction from posting links. The links are the hops. Please address this issue. I have limited hours I can play the game weekly.
