So I feel like an idiot. Previously I had uninstalled WoW, deleted my retail folder, but left the World of Warcraft folder with the Data folder as well as all the other folders, PTR, classic, etc.
This time around I deleted the whole World of Warcraft folder, including PTR, classic, ETC, and restarted my computer, then reinstalled fresh.
I think the important piece of the puzzle here is the World of Warcraft/Data folder.
Uninstall retail, make sure everything is deleted, and then delete the World of Warcraft/Data folder, then restart. Then reinstall fresh.
Have been playing a few hours with no Streaming Error or Disconnects, this seems to be the solution.
I tried everything in this thread until i found a solution that recommended using a command to fix the macros since there couldâve been a changed variable or whatever. The command didnt fix it for me but i just went through and deleted all the general macros as well as character macros and it seems to have fixed it for me⌠ive been playing for about an hour.
thank you @Grubzorz iâm trying a rename of data folder before uninstalling.
I also noted i have been playing again for 2 days but i havent left the dragon isle zone. i did however feel nostalgic and tried to take my other char to icecrown to do the legacy raid. Since entering the northrend zone its been nonestop D/C so my char is now stuck on a flight path each time i log in i ever so closely move to the next flight point about 1 sec or so. Not sure if other have experianced this but like i said been raiding and playing new content now cant play old content. not all bad i know as other cant play at all but jsut wanted to note it here for any help. i did re-install everything 3 times to get the stability though the 1st time.
I had the same issue in Northrend zones being stuck on a FP loop and disconnecting
Use the online character stuck feature to get back to a grave yard.
I managed last night to get to the new zone and play for awhile. When i flew back to Valdrakken i got booted. Then it waa another round of disconnects. I updated all my video cards and systems, dunno if that helped.
Issue still exists this has not been resolved Blizzard. Been constant disconnecting since Tuesday. Tried everything suggested. The longest I was able to play was about 30 minutes before getting disconnected yesterday. Logged in this morning back to disconnecting in under 15 minutes.

I did this completely and while I was able to play without any issues for nearly 2 days, it started again. It was fine for long enough that I thought it was resolved but this needs a Blizzard fix.
Okay, this is aggravating to say the least. Someone at Blizzard needs to provide an update. Still ongoing. Cannot even play.

Almost thought mine was fixed before having 6-7 more DCs in Valdrakken and numerous DCs in comp stomp. Logging off again for another few days until Blizzard can provide an update here. It has been daysâŚ

The only way I fixed mine after trying everything in this post was to uninstall and installing it on a different SSD.
Has anyone had long term success with the new edit at the top of the OP? Want to know before I start going down a multi hour redownload and attempted fix.
OP here, been playing bout 10 hours straight now with 0 Disconnects or Streaming errors.
And I was able to play for nearly 2 days, before the crashes started again. This isnât a permanent fix, at least not in my case.

Still having this issue. The solution listed did not help us in the long term. Cannot dragonride anywhere it disconnects with streaming error. Is there any resolution on this from Blizzard?
Fully erasing every trace of WoW from my main drive and completely reinstalling it fixed my problem entirely. Also, all disconnects/crashes on PTR have been fixed from my fresh installations. Best of luck to everyone else.

A small patch for WoW on Bnet resolved this for my guildie. Maybe it will work for others.

that would be great if half of us were getting pushed a patch.

Havenât crashed since logging on of this post.
I had reset my interface, and scan and repaired, but was still facing days of continual crashing. Upon discovering this thread, I took no further steps to try and remedy the issue on my own end.
Currently logged in for maybe 30m (previous max mightâve ranged from few seconds to few minutes) and zoned into Forbidden Reach without any issue for the first time. Good luck all.
They roll out gradually like every patch for every game on the market. Closing the Bnet client and Agent from Task Manager, or rebooting, may speed up the process.
