I saw some dude driving by in a new Lambo, I screamed at him to stop acting so entitled but he couldn’t hear me over the roar of the engine.
I think he saw me wave my fist at him.
So that’s good at least.

Its more then 3 days for some because the 3 day early starts on a friday the game releases on monday for everyone else which means ypu have 1 day to catch up before the first reset. Also would have to take work off it feels more like a week early then 3 days
Massive over reaction. If players are crying over 3 days of leveling, then they have a problem and need to seek help. They are likely addicted and need rehab. There’s nothing important accessible in the early access. Blizzard is far from the 1st company to don’t as well. This write up comes off as if punishing people and that not even close to being true.
I have the epic edition and didnt start yesterday. Still gathering all the pre-expansion items before they’re gone. I really dont see the problem. I that 3 days was that important to you I’m sure you could have found a way to work the $40 into your budget all those months ahead for it and the other epic perks.
My question is: how many bought the 3 day early access and when it goes live how many log in issues will it be so half those peeps lose out on the early access? I observe that
I hear you, but to me the best thing ever is logging in and NOT being STUCK in a queue!!! THAT alone was worth the extra dollars.
Early access was just the cherry on top for the epic edition. The other goodies are what I paid for. Y’all need to get the frick over it already.
no. its people like you who “just give up” that it will continue to happen.
Good ol’ fomo post. Maybe when early access is over. I’ll have my 3rd character leveled by then. Got my war up dps and tanking. Pally for ready for tanking and healing. Maybe ill level my warlock(s) for the giggs. I was thinking of backseating them this xpac.
I’ve been here since day one.
Loyalty doesn’t mean jack to this company.
They’ll happily kick out their oldest players for someone that plays once a year but will buy shop cosmetics.
Loyalty is often monetized. But, this is a very valid point.
Also a valid, rational point.
Yes and No. While in many cases this has been proven to be accurate to the gaming industry and is a predatory practice. But, to worry about it, is to fear the unidentified asteroid hitting earth. Until it is confirmed, it isnt really a worry.
This doesnt really correlate to early access. Early access is a cash grab. Launching the expansions before they are ready is a business decision to generate revenue. A 1 week early access doesnt impact a longer development cycle.
I dont really have a problem with paying for the early access. It is a luxury that I can afford. But, I am also very happy with all of the limitations and gates they put up with the early access as to what content is accessible.
I also think it helps with the launch issues, by diluting some of the population so servers arent crashing, or the game launcher isnt crashing. It makes it a little smoother.
All things considered, players could have bought the basic edition. Then gold farmed, and bought tokens and added the balance to their account and then upgraded to epic. Or farmed gold to just flat out buy the epic. I know its not ideal, but there are ways to avoid the paywall.
And the early access really only allows you to level for the most part. Which is extremely fast.
some folks were just never educated as kids lol
I don’t care much about the rest of what you said but this… you know you can wait a bit longer yourself you know? This whole thread is full of people that have no self control and prefer to blame blizzard than look inwards.
If you equate the cosmetics to being worth $170 you are not sane. I also see you post on just about every thread arguing with people when you have no idea what you are talking about.
Adult Diapers Aisle 12
I feel like every expansion they keep adding more and more things to the epic edition (things they could have just made available in the game, but chose not to).
Blizz also made a big deal about not selling tenders, then keeps slapping them in every promotion.
I can’t fathom why you bought if Early Access bothered you so much in advance. This really isn’t an issue. Micro transactions are a great reason to chastise a game company, Pay to Win is a great reason to chastise a game company, but this is neither. Let’s discard the micro transactions and related bonuses contained in the Epic Edition, just looking at transmogs, (paying for art is the only ethical option), and game time. You got an extreme discount for some cosmetic items, a free level 70, and they gave you access to a pared down version of the game where you can’t reasonably get more than a couple toons and professions leveled before other people get access. Let’s be realistic, there will always be people who invest their hobby and entertainment hours differently or just have more of them, and you can’t order them to stand down. So there will always be a sweaty who has more level 80s or a better gold stash, unless you actually want to compete with those who make money and play this game for a livelihood accept that it’s a game and some people want those couple of extra days.
What kills me the most about this are the spoilers/community aspect. People can’t interact with their favorite WoW content creators, all WoW-related websites can be a spoiler minefield, there are spoilers in trade chat, there are going to be jokes and references people either don’t get or get spoiled by. There’s division in guilds and friend groups because of what can and can’t be discussed. Look at the Twitch numbers, 800k for DF, sub-300k that quickly dropped to sub-200k for TWW. A lot of people can’t interact with the game, a lot of others can’t post what they want because of spoilers, and by the time they can it will be old news. This is a MASSIVE hype killer in the age of social media. It staggers the most important event in the expansion’s lifetime over several days. It’s pro-money and anti-fun, so I guess the spirit of Kotick is alive and well in the company’s culture after all.

Exactly ! Totally agree
I see a lot of justifying… What if I would’ve never bought any of that? Just because something has perceived value doesn’t mean it ACTUALLY has that value.
Early access behind a paywall can create unnecessary disparities between players. Those who can’t afford or choose not to pay extra may feel left behind, impacting group dynamics and the overall sense of community that’s integral to the WoW experience.
This is garbage. If you all want to play together then all start at the same time, don’t blame others for wanting to start early because you can’t wait and then are “upset” because you “can’t” play with your friends. That is all a you decision.
