The last time you had Vanilla was in 2004. You players need to get over the fact Vanilla is never returning. If your raids team is forcing you around Dual Spec then maybe you should A. Leave or B. Make your own raid that do not care for it. Do not ruin this for everyone else.

Bro if you only knew how little I care about the “quality” of raids I’ve been a part of. Like I’d be surprised if I’ve ever been in any above average raid in my life. I have no idea what I parse, but it’s nowhere near the top. I literally watch Netflix while I raid.

But even if I did, it in no way changes the fact that OP’s “ideas” (and apparently yours) regarding optimal gameplay are 2 opposing thoughts just hanging out in the same brain.

You’re going on about cognitive dissonance but at the same time you admit that you watch Netflix and are a bad raider, but you think you know enough to come to the conclusion that these are opposing thoughts.

Me and anyone with the tag Phase Seven could not be anymore diametrically opposed. I too do not like raiding. I too am not a sweater parselord. I just happen to also like vanilla WoW; something a majority of Classic players don’t seem to share.

Yup, its for this exact reason I laugh at other paladins who say Ret needs a buff… It does not, its actually kinda OP if you know what to do and how to play it. Meanwhile they beg for Exo to be used in combat other than UD targets… Failing to realize this would never work in PVE because its not going to fix their PVE problems and insanely breaks PVP.

Same with Shaman and Druid, both are so good.

Do you really think someone has to be “a good attentive raider” or “enjoy vanilla” the way you do to comprehend that simultaneously lamenting gameplay that you anticipate is going to become onerous while also lamenting the REDUCTION of another part of gameplay that has always BEEN onerous is beyond dumb?

Even worse, one of these 2 opposing ideas actually has the potential to create a great deal of flexibility regarding easing some of the pain points of vanilla, like tank/healer shortages, raid roster challenges, limiting the scope of the game a person can enjoy, etc. Inexcplicably, this is the one you guys DON’T want.

You admitted yourself you are not an S++ tier raider yet you want to also act like you know everything there is to know and nuances and complexities of changing parts of the game for high end raiding. Bro you gotta start looking words up before you use them.

Just like 10 minutes every night before you go to bed, read a semi difficult book for your reading level (like the twilight series or something), and look up every word you come across that you don’t know. You’ll start to notice the difference in no time. I promise.
