i’ve already explained why i care, it fundamentally changes how the game is played while also negating the original reason people want dual spec (being able to have two specs for two different purposes).
you can cope and say that it doesnt matter, but it sounds like you don’t care about vanilla anyways

Except they are, raids won’t be micro managing everyone’s dual spec. A couple people will be switching to tank/heal occasionally and it’ll be easy to find volunteers who already have that off spec, while most of the raid will be one spec the entire time and noone will care what their off spec is.

That is quite a long list of unsubstantiated assertions. Micromanaging is not a necessary condition. We know some RLs will lean on people (without “micromanaging”) and other individuals will choose to take up spec swaps mid-raid of their own volition. Because that’s what already happens in versions with dual spec implemented in this way.
Asserting that DS changes nothing about gameplay is a needlessly extreme position. It’s clear it will. Incentives matter. It’s been explained.
