Back in the day, I was around level 20 or 30 and was killed in a few hits by some player and I stood no chance. I instantly reacted “holy crap, I’m making a toon like his!” and not “omg I’m going to the forums to get him banned/nerfed”.
For someone in the 110-120 bracket, they would be complaining for an insignificant amount of time because they’d simply hit 120 and not have to worry about it again. But their actions would result in the waste of significant amounts of time spent by the person they reported. Selfish if you ask me.
Leveling via pvp has NEVER been quick due to inconsistency in winning and much slower XP reward than PvE.
Prot warrior and blood DK twinks in the 69 bracket back in wrath was sick.
Also I made a previous post advocating that they scaled heirlooms to 120 and increased their effectiveness over average questing greens/blues.
So why are you doing this to 110’s? That’s still “Legion Appropriate” as far as I can tell…
I’m grinding out Class Mounts in Legion because frankly, I’m just not as engaged in BfA. We already lost Artifacts so you could reinvent the wheel with the Azurite system, (yeeeeesh…), and now I’ll be leveled out of legion before I can finish what I’m doing there. All the stuff I need to be doing requires 110 and the only way to make it enjoyable is to not level past the content but I can’t finish all the requirements within a 1 level bracket.
Why do you guys insist on “fixing” what’s not broken?
Really big fail here.

It was the Ret pallies that I remember. Hammer of Wrath was devastating.
Disable expeditions for 110 toons and problem solved. It’s not rocket science blizz.
How is it hard to find a solution to this problem?!

The playstyle has it’s appeal, I can see however, I don’t think most were wanting to immediately get the person banned rather than tone down the problem. Not every monkey will eat the red berries because he sees another monkey eat them.
Those who level via PVP are aware of how much time it takes however, they may not care. They may not be in a huge hurry to hit max level and just want to enjoy the time they spend or they just don’t care because they want to take a break from the monotony of the same quests they’ve done several times (which I still hope one day, they will make it so you can quest in any zone up to the new content.
So true. If I remember correctly it was rets, blood dks and prot warriors that destroyed that bracket. You weren’t a twink unless you had engineering too. Man those days were so full of trolling. It was ridiculous
if you really want to stop this behavior but keep the players able to do what they want, why wouldnt you force XP gains in groups at 110+ and allow xp locks for solo play.
i used to laugh at the fun detected, fun removed people thinking they were just clowns or complainers. joke was on me, that it took me so long to realize that they were right. the game has become a 1 way street.

Good, because I do not want to eat the red berries.
People were posting cookie/brownie recipes in the forums for the people bragging or crying about the 69 bracket. It was such a trip I still remember it pretty clearly to this day. The good times had at the expense of others.
I don’t profess to be an expert, but couldn’t you just redesign scaling so that characters get more powerful as they level, instead of less powerful? It’s been a while, but I don’t recall level 60s helping to power level their friends in BC, for example.

Question: Why didn’t this get stealth patched (just slipping it in last minute), like removing the ability to delete M+ Keystones? Why did community concerns about this issue, but not the issue of M+ Keystone deletion, cause sudden change of thought?
That being said, I have no issue with how people want to play their characters, but what is with the inconsistency of communication on issues that have a large effect on mechanics that have existed for a while?
It’s pretty awful when your group gets stuck with the same keys, especially when they upgrade to the same dungeon.
The status quo must be kept.
Fun has been detected so fun has to be nerfed.

Sure it has been missed. Sure they think there is a better way to take of that.
We have to keep voicing our opinion because if we don’t do so than things like that get implemented and the community gets pissed even more.
What happened to you guys listen to your players Ythisens? Yeah…another fun police unnecessary nerf without addressing the blatantly big issues in game. More blizz not caring, or more activision influence. Either way, poor form from a company going on 14 years making an MMORPG. Just finally admit you quit caring at all about the game FFS and just go on.

Well that’s blizzard being blizzard again. They will stealth patch things that people yes will see but will keep doing anyway. If they stealth patched 110 Xp off, there would be A LOT of angry people out there.
Imaging not being aware of that, you run thing for fun then boom you’re no longer 110 and you’re 111. This would have caused a bigger outrage than the mythic key thing.
I wasn’t aware about mythic key because I don’t run those anymore as for me it’s no more fun
Yeah please don’t do this.
