Thank you, ill hold off un-subbing. Wish i was kidding but 119 is the only reason im staying subbed. We’ve made an awesome community and its the only fun i can find in the game right now.

Towards the end of the expansion it was pretty popular. Having this happen in the beginning is kinda… meh.
agreed, if they want to disable anything, disable the crap scaling system in place, love the fact when I ding, mobs I was wiping the floor with 2 shot my pet which did happen when I went from 119 to 120, and that should NEVER happen, and the best BS answer people can give is oh now you have to get better gear to feel as powerful as you did when you were lower level (that’s just crap)…

But the players are the ones who create their own small niches.
The point is to stop the activity in current zones. This does that and sends a very clear message: cheating players through relevant content is neither intended nor tolerated. This only affects those with EXP turned off, and that is the group of players perpetrating the offending tactic.
It really isn’t an issue - the game didn’t blow up or crash just because a small minority decided to use that method to level.
I tried to resist thinking they were purposely making this game in terms of time played metrics instead of fun but that is getting extremely hard to do when they are concerned with these types of things.
Zone scaling is not fun and ilvl scaling the Bfa version makes totally no sense.

No, they shouldn’t. Was tried, failed. Twinks queues never moved, never filled. Fortunately this is one thing good that was changed in Legion.

It failed because they didn’t want to queue and fight against each other like they tried claiming. I was there. Once the queues were split, there were tons of threads all the time complaining how it wasn’t fair that they had to now fight fair fights.

I and my twink friends tried for months to queue along but it never worked. One day I was in a queue for 6 hrs… Super glad they changed it. So are my twinks.
I’m glad you’re having fun. Everyone deserves to have fun. I was just pointing out why the queues were not filling.
I wish I was having fun in WoW but instead, I’ve had to find my fun elsewhere these days. All I ever do in WoW now is a BG occasionally.
And people not queuing may certainly have contributed. However the fact that literally groups of us were never able to queue suggests there may also have been other factors.

People doing bg are really sensitive to long queue times since the bg don’t take that long to do. I have a lvl 19 twink that I never played with in BfA and I tried to get into a bg a few weeks ago and gave up after 20 minutes and that is with a combined queue.

There may have been. I honestly do not believe that every person who had that playstyle was horrible at this game or a bully like everyone says. I know lots of them are like that because I’ve had several conversations with them and they always seem like they’re mad and seem to exert immense amounts of rage when you mention removing levelers or new players from their queues. I even tried joining a group that were very vocal/adamant on the forums that they only wanted to fight each other but during the BGs, anyone who was one, they avoided like the plague and they stuck to levelers like flies to poop. I even said “I thought you guys only wanted to fight each other?” and got replies like “lol and you actually believed that?”

That is sad. I had a great little twink group and we used to group up for BGs all the time. When they developed the “twink only” queue we were SO excited… only to have our hopes dashed with ridiculously long queues, some of which never came to fruition.

And it’s the large amount of the stereotypical that ruined it for everyone else.
Then again, I could go on and on about a lot of things that people have/enjoy that they cannot anymore because of people abusing things.
