I can barely take leveling 110-120 it’s so slow, even with assaults. Running around everywhere on the ground is horrid and 2 days after resubbing I remember why I unsubbed in the first place. I should have waited until 8.2 which is when we finally get the full version of the game (with flying).
(Also I hate that the forums switches your character from the one you picked to a recent one you logged in on. wtf!)

The reaction I am seeing is, this goes beyond the usual “Blizzard bumbling” and is instead reading like a “Blizzard hates the players” move.
Do whatever it takes to protect level 110, or you’ll have a riot on your hands.

And that was the only reason I had that I might have bought this crap expansion that devs created as a vanity development project to stroke their own egos.
Gratz for forcing more paying customers out of the game, Ion! Surely if you work hard at that you’ll have nobody to answer to at all.
If I got it for free I wouldn’t install it now.
They are so totally clueless, thinking they can force people to spam high keys and do mythic raiding by forcing them to level up against their will. Talk about out of touch and antisocial.

Pathfinder 3 to unlock waterstriders in current content is coming next, because Ion feels they speed the game up way to much.

They’re turning it off because leveling through questing is horrendous. In Legion I had 14 110 characters and many of them I leveled through farming mana wyrms outside of karazahn by the frost mage artifact weapon area.
Stop disincentivizing alternative ways to level up. This is a terrible decision since it’s a rarity to begin with.
Decisions like these don’t just make me lose faith in Blizzard, they make me dislike the dev team for incompetentency in trying to curb player behavior and funnel it into a one size fits all.

It only does this if you log out between forum sessions.

Actually that sounds like a Pathfinder part one thing.
I’ve seen people posting in trade selling runs through IEs on their 110s with all their legendaries and whatnot, making them easily capable of face smashing everything in there.

There is a saying that players have developed over the last two or three xpacs that explains this behavior by Blizzard… FDFR

So instead of seeing the problem in a character getting weaker as they level up instead of stronger, they just double-down on the problem and remove workarounds to where there is only one way of doing things. The ABSOLUTE state of Blizzard, lmao. “You’re going to play our way or you’re not going to play at all.” What a joke.
There is almost no power progression from 110 to 120. In fact, some specs even do more throughput at 110 than they do upon hitting 120. How about you just realize that scaling is a stupid concept that doesn’t belong in anything that claims to be an RPG?

What if instead you increased the pace of leveling for characters on a account with one level 120 instead of annoying people?
That way you don’t have to ruin anyone’s fun and you can add a npc to reduce the leveling speed for those who desire it.
You can go from a no one wins scenario to a everyone wins scenario.

They don’t do anything to stop paid runs thru M+ keys or Heroic and Mythic raids.
Why do they care if someone is selling runs thru normals and islands enough to ruin the fun for those of us doing it to play their game at level?
Glad you patched the fat cat pet though - thats so much more important than compelling game play that supports player choice.

When will we the players learn v.v , we can’t have fun. The sooner we accept this the sooner we can play the game like the robots we are supposed to be.

I stopped my XP gains for a reason. I want to do everything I can Legion wise on a warrior for a change that I blindly went through on my Druid who is 111 btw. My Pally is 114 or 115 and I didn’t finish everything in Legion with him.
So this warrior here is going to stay at 110 so I can do all of the raids on all the difficulties to collect and even get upgrades because I want to eventually go to 120 way later in the next year.
If you guys disable XP from being locked. Good Luck in the future.

This fix doesn’t impact me at all, but is this really what you all want to do at this point in the expansion? I feel like you all have enough issues with this xpac, not sure why you want to stir this up more with this “fix”.
Also, who and what does it hurt if someone wants to stay at 110? If I didn’t have to put my tin foil hat on to believe it. I would almost say you all are upset because people aren’t buying boasts. Because I’m really trying to understand what this is fixing.

Not gonna lie was my first thought but I couldn’t figure out a angle on how this would sell boosts since it only helped 110+

For me it’s not even leveling.
I have no issue with the pace of BFA’s 110-120.
I just wanted to twink ONE character at 110 so I could have more fun.

I quite enjoyed BFA. I could do world quests and dungeons. I am not a raider so my content is limited, I spent months working on my DH, and just recently made a warrior to run old content. This allowed me to have fun where other areas in the expansion were lacking. If it weren’t for 110 xp off characters, There is chance I would have quit bfa all together. (Grinding M+ gets old). This is just removing content others enjoy, and for what? I was always of the mindset when people said “Blizzard is losing touch” that they had no idea what they were talking about. I trusted Blizzard for the most part. Instead of doing something where you don’t gain xp if someone in the group has xp off you decide “Oh hey we have this problem where people are having fun, let’s fix that.” I wish when people said “Don’t buy the dreadwake deal” I would have listened. This is mind blowing to say the least.
