Twinking has been part of the game since the begginings! If it was a XP issue then make people that group up with twinks to gain reduced XP or no XP at all, make it an OPTION, not an exception. Or make twinks can only group up with other disabled XP twinks?

Do you know why people make twinks to play Islands in the first place?

Because the scalling sucks so bad it was funnier to play as a 110 raid geared char than with a 120 raid geared equivalent. Yes people have more enjoyment playing an outdate class with legendary options than at current content? See the problem there?

Endgame scalling sucks at the moment. This need fix, not twinks. All you will get from this is more quitters. I’m not gonna ruin this twink of mine I made to run “Cassino Islands” that I wouldn’t need to create if the RNG wasn’t so boring.

Look folks, simple fact of the matter is that once again a group of players decided to do the stupid thing and abuse systems to the point where Blizzard had to step in. Sure, it’s probably nice to blame big ol blizzard for kicking you in the teeth, but they’re reacting to what ‘we’ the player base did. So how about you look in a mirror and realize that maybe, just maybe, abusing game features isn’t okay and THEN once you’ve done that, and stick to it, maybe Blizzard won’t have to step in and fix problems we create okay?

Add a proximity detector for L.F.G. and bring back Auto-accept, if they are not close enough to participate they can’t join. But main proximity to the world quest.

No. When someone applies to your group, you should be able to view their location so you can decide whether to accept them or whisper them to make sure they’ll show up.

I like the fact they state the purpose of xp lock was for people to experience past expansions content and playstyle… Yet contradict themselves and remove the ability to even make a 110 twink which was the level for Legion content.

This is slightly off topic but it is a sad day when companies i trusted in gaming have gone into pure greed it is almost easier to list the non greedy one’s then the greedy one’s but for me these companies in just a semi short time went from trusted to scum bags.

While i call out the bad one’s i have to applaud these 3 companies

1. CD Project Red - Witcher games
2. Rockstar Games – GTA and Red Dead ( but looks like they are getting greedy for there online versions)

It basically ruins being able to complete legion at level or participate in legion end game content for any toon you want to play through it. It might solve a problem, but it creates a big one for many of us who want to do that.

Why did I turn off XP for my level 110 mage? It is because she feels smoother to play than my 120 mage. The extra 10 levels and around 150 ilvls did not help but rather diminished the fun I had with my primary character. I don’t want to also experience the alt mage growing weaker despite putting out bigger numbers.

It is also because I would like the option of having her stay an appropriate level for Legion content since I actually liked that expansion. It gives me something fun to do rather than stare at a character select screen. My level 120s feel sluggish and some have suffered regressions in spec design when compared to Legion.

Since the launch of Battle for Azeroth, we’ve noticed an increasing trend of players turning off XP gains at level 110 in order to repeatedly powerlevel other players’ characters at an excessive rate without increasing their own level. The intention of the XP-off feature is to allow alternate characters to stay in lower-level PvP brackets or relive lower-level content, not to purposefully halt progression in content relevant to the current expansion.

To curb this behavior, we plan to implement a hotfix in the coming days that will disable the ability to turn off XP gains on characters level 110 or higher. Additionally, any character of that level who already has XP disabled will find it automatically re-enabled the next time they log in.

These are bots mining, actually went to one guy that kept joining my group in argus to ask him what he was doing, it was a bot using the phasing to mine the same seem over and over - he never moved, never responded, he would join, leave, disappear, reappear, and repeat.

The “problem” that people were selling carries is a total non-issue. They see people like you and me as the problem - 110’s who have decided to delay leveling up and continue to play 110 content.

I tried to make a group for a rare kill WQ, and only one guy joined, and I couldn’t get anyone else accepted, and it was awful. People screaming at me to turn on auto accept, and I couldn’t find it ANYWHERE. It was brutal.

They did that on PURPOSE?

Ahhhh what the hell blizzard, I made two 111 twinks for farming oldschool stuff, I payed 60 dollars to make a dark iron dwarf dungeon running twink you canolis. FACK MY 60 DOLLARS I COULD OF BOUGHT A LOT OF SANDWICHES
