A friend of mine purchased the epic edition preorder as a gift to me. I got everything else related in the package except the boost?

Give it 24hrs to pop if it hasnt have ur friend open a problem with purchase ticket sometiems it just takes time.

All digital purchase can take up 2 24hrs to fully process and are u sure its not showing up on the character select screen.

Yeah I just double checked again and its not where to be seen.
Another thing you can try too? If you haven’t closed out of your game and client entirely since receiving the gift, give that a try. Or even just reboot your computer and then load it all back up. Sometimes it just needs that refresh

I tried this as well with no luck unfortunately. I’ll just have to give it over night and hope it’s there tomorrow. Seems a bit odd that it could take up to 24hrs for them to get you everything that was paid for but w/e.
Boosts are a hot ticket item for scammers, and they’re also a high-profile shop item to boot. The transaction may have been initiated, but they want to make sure that the funds fully clear before unlocking them. There may have also been a chargeback loophole that people exploited in the beginning.
Better that than potentially have a purchase fail and have to lock the boosted character because the token was used immediately.

Okay that makes sense I guess. Is that well known thing in the community? I thought I would see alot of similar post relating to the boost contained in the preorder taking forever or something. Not alot out there.
It is fairly well-documented, yes. Both in Blizzard’s own Support articles as well as somewhat regular mentioning here in this forum.

I can definitely see the War Within license, including the boost on the account, so it looks good from my end. Assuming the purchase fully processes (which usually takes 24 hours) you should hopefully see it after those 24 hours are up.

I am missing the level 70 boost from my gift of the new epic expansion. I have the pet, mount, toy, etc. I have already tried to exit all of the way out of game and launcher and relaunched it. I have also tried to create a new character to “refresh” the loading screen. This is still not visible. It was a gift purchase for my birthday from a day ago, but I can wait another 24 hours from when I accepted the gift.
