I’m fine either way… just want to know. Getting ridiculous queue times again. I’m a BG-only player so I’d like to know if this is an anomaly or a permanent change. I’d rather play EFT if it is permanent.

Yes, the announcement specified that same faction BG tests would be shut off with this mornings maintenance. We’re waiting to see what’s next.

they never ‘fixed’ them, they tested something over the weekend. it was never meant to be permanent (but it probably will be after they “go over the data”, unfortunately. why come up with a solution that helps both factions when they can just slap a bandaid on it and kill one of them?)

Given the Alliance’s natural amount of PvPers, it would be an act of mercy.
no, the “test” is over.
don’t worry unless they find the alliance en mass left, which a few days is hard to judge that it will become permanent
this “test” is a pandora’s box, blizz opened it and there is no going back, if they don’t go through with the change, horde will riot, but with the change ally pvp servers will bleed endlessly to the point its fundamentally unplayable for all aspects of the game

I would say they should try and balance racials to attract more pvpers to Alliance, but then people who just scream about “REEEEEEE NO CHANGES!!!” so the next best thing is to just offer one way Horde to Alliance transfers, so those not attached to their faction and willing to resolve the issue can transfer without losing their character progress
or at least the people who refuse to budge can shut up their queue complaints after not taking the answer when presented

The same faction BGs are taken out and are evaluating things.
I honestly expect them to be put back with no changes. I’ve given my feedback on it.
For now I’ll get my as many marks as I can so I don’t have to queue and get HvH games later.
The stupidest part about it all was the AvA games.
How does this impact alliance’s game enjoyment at all.
Grow up please. People have kids, jobs and lives and want to PVP. Let them do it.

Unchanging it may cause several Horde to leave. In all honesty, I was about to leave last week anyway. This gave a breath of life into my game as I could actually play the game. I may not be the demographic they are aiming at though. I understand that they may be aiming towards the “RP dual faction internal struggle crowd” instead of people like me who enjoy PvP.

Precisely, anything they do, or even if they dare do nothing after this weekend, will still end up with people crying. Just rip the bandaids off already and let us get on with the part of the game we enjoy.

I’m sure there is a lot of unsubbed data and Ally participation drastically down since they left. The data should say it isn’t a good fix.
This not only that there are Horde that just don’t want to fight other Horde that is just gross. This game is Ally vs Horde and anything else is unacceptable. Just fix the faction server balance, fix the bugs, offer free faction and server changes.
I unsubbed and let them know it was due to same faction bgs and bugs. I also don’t want to pay for a server change when they should be actively trying to fix these things. I can just spend my money in another game.
