A MM hunter shot my priest in a skirmirsh and it dealt like 60-70% hp. WHat’s wrong?
nobody is fully geared
therefore versatility bonus isn’t completely relevant yet
pvp is also busted btw
versatility bonus doesn’t apply the defensive portion anyways
with gear and experience it’ll be more like an expectation and not something that catches you off guard
it wont feel so bad in a couple weeks
oh wow so pve gear will prob still be better ?
Nope I don’t think so. PvP gear will be more sought out and optimal initially. Also ive heard pve gear doesnt provide all types of gear slots with vers on it so PvP gear will likely be better.
The PvE trnkets tho are a diff story if they don’t get nerfed.
but without using both pvp trinkets i wont get 40% bonus to versa
and i need medallion obvi
The pve trinkets have mostly already been nerfed. And There are pieces of pve gear with every stat combo, the same can’t be said about pvp gear. When making my priest on beta, I was able to get mostly full haste/versa gear from the pvp vendor, but when I made my shaman, there was only like 3 or 4 haste/versa pieces, and that includes the neck/one ring. Some classes that stack haste/versa will need to pve more than others from the looks of it.
maybe not so much for s1 but depending on how they handling stat DR in s2 and beyond, you wont want every piece of gear to be straight haste/vers
after 30% haste it’ll be better to just vers/mastery or vers/crit depending on what you play
though the DR could be completely irrelevant until the end of the expansion, not sure how secondary scaling is going to look
however it looks like we’ll have significantly more stats this first season than we typically do early
As someone else said no one has full vers PvP gear yet. Ele one shots right now as well.
On beta MM hunter was an average class while WW and warrior were one shotting people. Once people start getting gear, the current “one shot” classes will be alot weaker.
Healing is also over tuned to match though, I got topped in one healing surge riptide combo from 15%
The game feels a lot like wotlk/mop they could tune stuff down like a tad bit, not too much but other than that it feels good. It’s much more fast paced. Actually you could increase health pools just alil bit more an we might be good.
Yeah, I just got instantly killed by a MM hunter as a prot paladin in twin peaks. Got hit by 2 aimed shots instantly, the first one did 18,500 damage, the second one did 15,000. Pretty easy to react accordingly to that.
That’s way higher than I ever hit plate on beta but I’m sure that’s because of a saltwater potion/beserk
I almost have full vers tho
and i still grt shafted.
No 10 char
But allow me to give you a taste of what happens when you complain about other specs.
“OMG YOU’RE A ROGUE AND YOU’RE COMPLAINING!? NOW YOU KNOW HOW EVERYONE ELSE FELT INSERT SEASON!”
Fully geared is busted too. Don’t let the naked gnomes fool you.
Umm but then those average classes will be weak right?
Hunter
Dh
ect…?
mm hunter is just incredibly overturned right now along with ret paladin being able to wog from 30%-100%, starfall being moonkins top damage by 30% and drestagath still hitting for 6k at level 60. Blizzard has a lot of work to do before season starts but with legendaries coming into play balance will shift again.
-ps nerf drest trink again no one wants to farm m nya for SL s1
MM, Rogue, and WW all feel insanely overtuned to where they are 100-0 in the opener or in a short stun.
game is goofy right now since we have no gear, things will change once rated is out and we can start getting real gear/start getting legendaries and soulbinds etc
When you played beta (where you presumably got free high-level gear), your pet was dying extremely quickly right?
