Did they remove buffs attached to your personal resource display?

Anyone have recommendations for a replacement? Don’t expect this is gonna get fixed soon, if at all.

Can we please bring this back? This game is unplayable without it.

I thought I was going crazy trying to find a solution for this because I was thinking I had clicked something wrong, but Blizzard did it actually. The new CD manager shouldn’t replace the old personal resource display, especially buffs… This is terrible.

They will fix this later on, guys (and sell this fix as new content)

Please fix this ASAP. Needs to show those buffs again.

This needs to be fixed ASAP, it makes so many buffs annoying to keep track of, and the new buff tracker is not customizable enough nor clean enough to be a good replacement.

I really hope this is just a bug and not an intentional loss of a feature.

You can do it yourself. Ive been using my own WA since DF since I wanted to customize what’s displayed.

Just anchor the WA to the Personal Display.

Yeah, I use that feature to track my ignore pain stacks, it’s awful having to hunt it down in the corner. Guess I’ll just contribute to the tank shortage till they change that.

I like that the new tracker puts a big massive number in the middle of the icon for time left on Maelstrom Weapon and then in a very tiny little number in the corner for the number of stacks.

Really helpful. I totally want to know the buff time and not the number of stacks.

this change was a terrible mistake! needs to go BACK how it was or at the VERY LEAST MAKE IT AN OPTION UNDER ADVANCED OPTIONS to change it back to having core abilities under the personal resouce display!

Here to ask that they revert this change.

Bumping this in hopes for an option to enable the previous functionality.

Also here to voice my concerns over the removal of buffs to the personal resource display for the new cooldown manager. Please give us back the previous functionality of the personal resource display. The new cd manager actually tracks LESS buffs than what the personal resource display showed me. Now I need to find weak auras to replace the broken functionality of the personal resource display that was already perfect.

bumping to restore previous functionality

Blizzard please restore this. You are literally sending an update meant to replace Weakauras, but instead forcing thousands of players to install the addon.

Can’t believe they removed this, it was so convenient to see my overpower, whirlwind, and bladestorm procs and completely functional. Blizzard need to bring it back as soon as possible

Bumping for visability
Loved the PRD it made me not have to use weakauras but at this point ill take a weakaura that will make it work like it was before…

Hi friends – I may have a hacky solution for you.

I don’t happen to use the PRC or its buff UI, but I dug around in the UI guts tonight and saw that the plumbing to display buffs was still present in the UI, they simply removed the part that adds the appropriate active buffs to the PRC. They also removed the function which tells you which buffs are the ones to show, but luckily added the ability to query that list from the new C_CooldownViewer APIs.

I wrote the tiniest, hackiest WA which attempts to “battle rez” the PRC, and all it does is add any buffs that the cooldownviewer considers to be a TrackedBuff to the PRC buff panel. It looks pretty real to me!

Anyway if this gives anyone some solace, I’m glad. If it doesn’t work, I’m sorry, I took a shot! Hopefully they’ll just add a checkbox which brings this back and yall can throw out this WA when that happens.

EDIT: You probably must /reload after importing it!
