Am I missing something, or did they remove buffs that were attached to your personal resource display?
Pre-patch, various buffs such as stacks of improved whirlwind were attached to the the healthbar under my character, but post patch they have vanished and toggling any of the options associated with the personal resource display won’t bring them back.

They did. My DH buddy is complaining right now that Soul Fragments aren’t showing.

Yes. Your personal info bar does not show buffs on your display.
You cannot edit the Cool Down manager like you can in Weak Auras.
It’s amazingly terrible.

It seems they did, which is what I used to easily track Ironfur stacks. I totally support them trying to improve the UI but removing basic functionality in favor of the cooldown manager/separate buff tracker which is not in an editable state yet is totally unacceptable.

Genuinely upsets me. I do not want to look at 90% of the “cooldowns” (Sinister Strike isn’t a cooldown you troglodytes) that they are forcing onto the bars when I just want to track maybe 2 abilities and 5-7 buffs

I can’t fathom why they did this. The new cooldown manager is just a bad version of a weakaura, which, like weakauras, won’t consolidate with your resource display as your camera shifts. A good feature would be expanding upon customization of the personal resource display- something that there isn’t a plethora of addons for, not deleting the existing functionality for a bad version of an addon.

Yeah, I literally cannot play the game without these features, I cannot look at the top left of my screen everytime I need to see how much ignore main procs, or whirlwind procs I have when it was PERFECTLY fine beforehand. Please someone let me know if / when we get a fix.

Yes, they gutted the personal resource bar and replaced it with hot garbage. The Blizzard way.

We’ll probably have to wait for someone to make an addon/weakaura that recreates it. Was hoping cooldown manager would let us pick and choose what buffs can get tracked on it, but I suppose the bar was set too high.

What an incomprehensibly bad change. Why you would take functionality away from one UI customisation option but then not even implement it properly into another is beyond me. Ideally we should have a toggle for how we’d like these sorts of buffs to display because now ironically i’m going to have to set up weakauras to track something in a way that makes sense where the base UI clearly showed it to me before.

I thought I was going crazy! I even opened a ticket, and the GM told me this wasn’t supposed to happen??? So happy it’s happening to other people tho

Me every time Blizz manages to ruin something good:

Same here and its absolutely awful. How come every time they add some new feature they have to mess with and take away things that already exist

Please revert any changes made to the personal resource bar… at the very minimum it should be left untouched if cooldown manager is disabled.

The personal resource bar used to display important buffs, now that the cooldown manager has been introduced it doesn’t show buffs on the personal resource display.
The new cooldown manager doesn’t even include the old buffs that were ESSENTIAL from the personal resource display.
WTF is this change? I can’t add essential spells to the essential spells cooldown manager? I’m now literally FORCED to get a WeakAura to track AN ESSENTIAL SPELL WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

DO NOT agree with this change, why cant we have good things blizz!!??!

Man this buff removal off the personal resource display really screwed the game for a lot of people, there was no need to do it, let people decide on what to use. gonna have to rely on more weakauras for now since the new cooldown UI isnt what i need.

I cancelled my subscription over this. I have used the Personal Resource display for years over WeakAura packs to avoid this problem. I hated it when addons and WeakAuras were constantly broken, so I figured I’d use the native in-game option.
I don’t want to spend an hour doing a new UI to play a game for fun. I want to play the game.
Zero QA, zero consideration. No other software-as-a-service is this irresponsible to their customers.
Blizzard clearly doesn’t care about my time as a customer.

kinda defeats the purpose of the PRD now, since it’s only an inch away from my character frame anyway, which shows everything
