This was my problem last night. Running solo, tier 8, ivl 579 prot warrior. Skittering Breach. Doing fine, being careful, i’ve got 3 lives when I get to the marker stone at the third ritualist. Pull a pack with a Nerubian Slayer and a thread caster and it’s fine. Pull the little pack that has the Ankle Biters in it. Same as the beginning of delve. Hit for like 250k or 300k max, right? They have 1.7m health, weakest mob in the delve.
I get two shot by the last one alive in the pack because now it’s doing hits that are 2.5 million and 3 million. Slayer in the next pack one shots me with like 7 million.
Bloody ridiculous.
difficulty should not mean taking extreme damage. punishing damage for mistakes, sure. but just damage that is not avoidable at all? normal casts and melee? thats not difficulty. thats bad design

I’ve been getting stomped in 8’s the last couple of days.
Tried a 9 yesterday just so I could advance to 10’s and it was a bloodbath in the first mob room. Rolled back to 8 and made it farther but it was quite a lot more difficult and wasn’t able to finish 2 out of 3.
Thread is from 29 days ago. There’s probably been 12 delve hotfixes since then.
Has gotten better, 625 I stomped an 11 Delve ez.
?? Zekvir still sucks tho. Killed him twice, he still sucks.

I play solo and delves take far too long to do even in a 7. Huge waste of time as mobs have far too much health. Blizz turned fun into a chore - again. And there’s no hope to beat Zekvir playing solo.

Zekvir’s difficulty varies per class. Arms/Fury is a cakewalk compared to Shadow, Devastation for example.
This thread was made in response to a hotfix pushed literally overnight that suddenly spiked Delves to nigh one shot city mobs during…Pre raid??? Not even sure I remember.
