Did the timewalking dungeon change go into effect

I think bosses take about one extra rotation to go down, but still very easy.

Yeah, all these BFA dungeons are playing like they were on normal mode back in live, which is pretty easy. If these were truly heroic as they were then, the forums would be on fire because just lack of interupts on mobs alone would kill players. They really did test your abilities of playing a class outside the basic rotation.

Heroics weren’t hard back when BfA was current either, outside of perhaps the launch window when nobody had gear yet.

Yeah, they went through and all my max level characters just walk freely through the mobs and bosses. However, leveling up a few new alts to reach level 80 has turned into a wait until the next go and avoid BFA.

The crap just straight merks you in those dungeons on a low level character.

Which is precisely the state a low leveler is in. And even if you were properly geared you would still be slowed down by players who didnt use their interupts .

Im not saying they were mythic hard, but you did need to know your tool kit if you wanted a smooth run in heroic

There are some things not properly scaling right in some of the dungeons. I’ve leveled 6 toons from 10 to 70 over the last couple day with some friends. Below 30, some of these mechanics was a 1 shot in less than .5 seconds of reaction time.

Yeah, like Kings Rest with the poison puddle. If you so much as even twitch and not move out your dead instantly. Meanwhile, my level 80 can run through them with minimal damage /dance her way to victory.

It’s the first week of BfA timewalking they’ve done. So it comes as no surprise to see a handful of abilities that are overtuned or not scaling properly. Considering it’s the first week of BfA timewalking as well as the first week of the new timewalking scaling it looks like things are going pretty smooth to me.

Bosses take about 30 seconds instead of 5 seconds, trash mobs take about twice as long too. Still not hard at all, just now it’s kind of a boring slog.

they cant sync or balance these dungeons to save their lives lol
:cherries:

Healed the 5 for the weekly with my friend yesterday. It went by so fast I don’t even remember doing it.

I basically didn’t need to heal for 4/5 of the dungeons and just DPSed all of them the entire time. One of them had some moderate healing, but I never used any type of CD, I don’t even think I brought an Ancestor out.

I really haven’t even noticed the change on max level characters. I’m not sure if all my random groups have really high item level players or what. Stuff just flat dies quick, I mean to me it feels the same at max level.

I healed the 5 as a shadow priest queued as healer. The only period of time out of 5 dungeons that I had to heal was on the avatar of sethraliss fight.

They feel a bit slower on average in the 40+ I’ve done but still trivial. It’s just some of the mechanics are overtuned for certain levels that need fixing, that’s all.

Yeah they almost seem easier now.

Has anyone gotten a low level 11 to rush through, because I have not seen any with me leveling up a new shaman. Also, the spells at low level take way too darn long to cast, I mean way, way too long.

Thinking about going resto or trying out enhance, because elemental cast time on spells equals way to long.

SO basically they just messed up the scaling even more?

Classic blizz “fixing” things

Yeah but he wasn’t tanking like they normally do. It was funny, it didn’t make a difference if the lvl 11 was there or not, we were already moving at a pace that was equal to his and sometimes we were ahead of the 11 Fury physically, which means he was getting to the next pack after us. Didn’t even matter if they were there, speed would’ve been the same.

It’s probably people using the OBR tbh. That will speed the game up in general which is really good, that’s what we want.

That would be my guess…the scaling is nearly always off in instances with lower level characters.
I ran a classic era dungeon solo on a locked 61…ran out and did it again and my DPS looked entirely different from the first pass.

Ive done that once and it been a breeze, then did it again, same dungeon, same alt , same circumstance, and it was like being hit by a truck. lol.

i can run a dungeon with one group and its race roll…run that same dungeon 30 minutes later on the same alt and there are three wipes over being two shot, lol

They cant even keep consistency in instanced content from one run to the next where lowbie content or alts are concerned.
Feels like scaling is all over the place.
