Hello! Today I ran the raid Tomb of Sargaras by myself (Dorksïde on Zul’Jin) and won the Abys Worm from Mistress Sassz’ine however the mount neither appears in my backpack nor in my collections. This took 117 tries. I did create a ticket but the response I receive was Keep Trying… This it the first negative experience I have ever had with Blizzard. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Again, I do not expect to receive the mount just because I killed the boss, however if it says I won it… Where is it??
Have you checked the filtering of the mount list?

I did indeed. The mount actually shows as Unobtained however I have the automatic screenshot WOW took when I got the notification. I’ve disabled all my addons, reset my UI and restarted the client, still no go 
Did you check your mailbox in case this is something the Postmaster might be able to rescue from the Nether for you?

After further elaboration with the support staff it turns out the issue was of my own making; It seems I accidentally sold the mount to a vendor 
I guess I have to start this one over and just be more attentive.

Not sure if it will show up, but have you checked Item Restoration?

Unfortunately, mounts are one of the Item Restoration limitations. Honestly I didn’t know you could sell mounts as in the past I’d receive the message Vendor doesn’t want this item if I clicked on it in error. Lesson learned!
You cannot restore:
- Items destroyed in your current play session until you log out –speak to any vendor and check the Buyback tab. You can repurchase the last 12 items you sold since you logged in
- Stackable crafting material and Quest Items
- Consumables (reagents, potions, food)
- Collectibles (pets, mounts, and heirlooms) added to the Collections tab
- Temporary items such as holiday items
- Items traded or mailed to another character, or sold on the Auction House
- Items destroyed before a Character Transfer or Faction Change

You couldn’t, as you said. I think they quietly added it along with the Collector’s Bounty event because players may receive mounts they already know. (Many raids have multiple mounts.)

Hmm, others have been vendorable. There was a post from last year. Also, that person was able to recover it via Item Restoration.

The RNG gods took pity on me. I re-ran the raid 16 times (LRF, Normal, Heroic and Mythic) on 3 toons and on the 16th try I got the mount again! This time I added it right away!
