Did I make a mistake being an Orc Rogue for looks as well as PvP?

So, I know that NE and Human are better races, but I do think Orc is still the best horde race for rogue.

I just really don’t like how NEs and Humans look compared to horde. For whatever reason, people made fun of me when I asked this like “LOL Orc rogue makes 0 sense, they are big and bulky, supposed to be warriors”

Not only that, but I genuinely think orc male rogues look cool. If you look on ladder 99.99999999% of Rogues are female Orc. No offense, I don’t think female Orcs look cooler than male.

Is it just me or does a male orc rogue still fit within the lore? The shattered-hand orcs I believe were mag’har though. What about that orc in the vengeful gear outside the xmog vendor in Orgrimmar?

Idk it just “makes sense” to me. I started playing in the latter half of Vanilla, so maybe I’m used to it. Orcs could be rogues since the beginning.

So why all the hate? Apparently you’re “trolling” playing Orc male rogue…

i personally think orc looks terrible in leather and cloth…with the new trinket bonus orc isnt the defacto best race. you could choose whats aesthetically pleasing to you more than you could in the past. undead have pretty decent dual wield animations

This baby orc knows whats up

And why do people think Orc rogues look so bad? I don’t get it. Human/NE Female are super boring to look at.

I get that UD looks really cool, but is it even worth faction changing… like their racials are objectively worse I believe. At least with Orc I get bloodfury… but idk. Maybe getting out of fear every now and then is better?

Big shoulders and goofy, dramatic animations, perhaps.

I am a straight back male orc on every character possible and I offer no apologies for it. From my broad shoulders and sculpted jaw line to my hairy toes there is no part of my body that I am ashamed of.

Is UD worth switching to. I feel like their racial is still worse since orc get BF but idk.

Orcs will be able to use 2 dps embellishments on gear

but regardless, racials mean little now

It’s funny if you look at the horde 3v3 ladder there is literally 0 UD it’s all Orc. I wonder why they all chose that if it isn’t super advantageous.

I see a lot of people faction changed to NE, but I really don’t like how ally races look for rogue.

That’s the Eternal ladder.

What do you mean? I actually scrolled through all 10 pages and they were all orc, 0 UD. I know it’s eternal glad season, but yeah.

Orc rogue was my first ever toon. I never thought they were weird in feeling.
Garona was the original rogue in lore. Tons of orc rogues in the game like the Hellfire Citadel ones that ganked you from behind. Bigger doesn’t mean any less stealthy anyway, my problem with Tauren rogue is the damn HOOVES clop clop clop

New season/new meta

What you see on the leaderboard is of last season. Orc racial is less important now when everyone gets the pvp set bonuses.

You should have went goblin for superior stealth animation or kul tiran to sap/punch people off cliffs in wpvp as everyone is leveling.

I paid money to go from Orc to Goblin because I think short toons look cooler in armor. Playing the worst healer with a non-meta race I’m still gonna hit my goals, idc.

Do what you want, realistically 99% of the eyes that will see this post aren’t going to be playing at a high enough MMR for that stuff to matter.

Every race can fit with the lore as long as you play Outlaw. Then you’re just a pirate after that booty

Honestly one of the funniest combinations of things to see happen. Nobody ever expects it.

If your priority is PVP, NE is probably best for the extra vanish, on par with UD WOTF
Otherwise just play what looks best to you

Searching for validation on a poor decision.
