Yep spent a few hours doing it and all I got was GOLD. It’s nothing even remotely resembling the diablo 3 goblin experience. Blizzard why so stingy?

I love the goblin event. Something simple I can walk away from and come back to whenever I feel like it.
So far got cloak & hood, treasure pack appearance and the 36 slot bag.
Really wish they’d get to this sooner than later.

I honestly thought it was going to be like diablo where you RANDOMLY find goblins and have to kill them before they portal. So I was planning on just looking for them where they said they would spawn…
Then I read they are timed and they always spawn in the same place. Did one 2x on the same character today. 2nd kill I only got gold…ohhh so they don’t want me killing it more than 1x a day on each character. WHY?
Also, the amount of gold it dropped was a joke…in diablo they drop A LOT of gold.
The way the event is structured now is boring AND so many trolls around the event too dropping toys and other things to make you lag and try to get you to not target the goblin before it dies.
Good idea with bad execution.

As I posted in a previous comment with a video, the last time we got this goblins and a portal to the cow level…this time we got less gameplay.

If you read the thread, its feedback…great an event but it could be better if Devs have enough time to add more gameplay, last time we got event cow level and cow king fight.

we all pay monthly to play this game be it real money or in game gold
what is free however is random free events in fortnite which is a completely free to play for example which require no real money or in game money to be spent to enjoy
see the difference?
every thing that is put in this game is paid for by you and me monthly, nothing is free
so if you pay for for something in some form and then get a crap product, is it so odd to feel not so good about it?

You’re getting a mount, a kick as pet, a bammer, a neat stealthy transmog and you’re complaining about it. I feel great about it. If you want to use your logic then fortnite isnt free either cus you are spending time, a valuable commodity to any human to get those, to do those anakin quests/indiana jones.

again look around and you will see many complaints about this event and other such things, all those people then completely wrong? is there no merit to there points at all?
The process to get rewards also matter a lot, I’m providing suggestions and things that are possible if Devs have time to include, I don’t only care about the rewards but also a fun gameplay that I’ll remember, the experience is also important.
Right now the event is moving around, sometimes face latency and trolls…

Yeah because there was a portal to a cow level with a cow king that was like a mini boss.

1k gold per kill would have been more reasonable for a TREASURE goblin!

Does anyone know if the rewards are in sequence or random? My wife did her first one and got the same rewards as I did on my first one.
