People are overblowing how OP this class is simply because it’s FoTM and easy to pick up as a noob stomper.
Not only are DH players easy to kill as a good portion of them LoS and don’t use defensives at the right time, but the difference between a good DH and a bad DH is pretty high when you see your local 2100 DH play vs. Trent on Twitch who was the first glad DH in S1.
The reason why DH is FoTM and people claim it’s OP is because the skill floor is non existent to the point where anyone can roll one and climb with it, but the skill ceiling despite what people say is actually high and they can get sent to the gulag if they don’t play properly in some lobbies.
The real OP class is Shadow Priest.
It does more damage than a DH, it has more defensives than a DH, it has more utilities than a DH and within an hour or two of playing it you can easily pick it up and shoot up the ladder because it is absurdly good in every area of the game.
Eh, DH’s are absolutely overtuned but I’m not going to stump for my own class to get radically nerfed into the ground without every other problem child getting fed into the same woodchipper.
The problem isn’t DH’s, it’s PVP at large. It’s a gross, frustrating CC fest where everyone’s looking for the flavor of the season, and it’s been that way since Burning Crusade.
There’s also been literally zero proof of this dude doing any of these things. But apparently in a matter of weeks he’s just rerolling anything op and going 2.1, 2.4 with leaving all the time, etc., yet can’t show a toon.
