Maybe at level 10 they are not overpowered, but wait until you hit level 70 and get geared.
So heroic that people are making a low tier spec (caster) work in this melee meta.
everyone complaining about dh are only talking about solo shuffle. dhs are mainly annoying if you’re a melee class.
but the class does die. they die to rogues, ferals. anything with a stun. i do think their passive cleave damage is a little absurd and needs to be looked into.
if you’re looking at it from a competitive pov, assa rogue is definitely the strongest melee in the game right now

the difference between a bad rogue and a good rogue is like night and day. The difference between a bad DH and a good one is basically unnoticeable
not really true. mvq is a different breed. so is rev. they’re both insane at the class. i think people just hate on it because it’s a very simple damage rotation.
i’ve seen good and bad dhs. and i can tell you right now there is a noticeable difference between the good and bad
I disagree, although Havoc does have a lower skill floor.

Tell me what changes you would make to balance DH. Every DH says they are overtuned but when presented with changes they all revoke and get salty.
It just kind of splashes damage everywhere so naturally it’ll always just be good and easy to pick up. It was designed to be a bit of a package after the mess that was monk.
We have moved away from what it was in bfa, though, thankfully.

Hmm. Probably adjust the modifier on essence break as that’s probably the biggest offender right now, then maybe dial back the chaos damage modifier talent again. There’s potentially Bloodlet, but otherwise…ehh.
Maybe the crit damage modifier in pvp?
10% aura nerf in pvp. 10% healing aura nerf in pvp. This would make them more balanced. Too bad no DH will agree that their baby class is too busted

Oh like how shaman got flat -% aura nerfs twice in a row and MSWaura followed by an ele blast aura? Sloppy like that?
Also the soulrend damage carrying over on re application. Since we have a talent that throws 2 glaives at a target it adds it up, then before the dot falls off we throw another for the damage to stack.
And essence break modifier like you said, maybe nerf it in PvP.
DHs do is all aoe damage. The more they are stacked the more damage we do.
People always attack the wrong thing.
I think that this is how blizz will balance things in the future. More frequent tuning but less involved to save time.
