Considering the current situation:
- no rework/soft-rework in the DH (not strictly necessary actually)
- Fel-scarred lacking animations for greater fantasy and impact
- Aldrachi being demanding to a level that borders on unplayable (unless you like to stress yourself out)
- Latest interviews saying that it is possible that not everything that is wanted to be achieved with the HT is at launch and that it will continue to be worked on during the expansion.
Comrades in Fel, this is a good time for you to evaluate whether you want to change main or not, there are many other classes with a clearer and more promising future day one of the expansion.

Just commenting on the position we are in and that there is no indication of change before the release of the expansion, which if we compare with the treatment that other things receive such as the mage, the warlock, among others, it is BAD.
Considering that, if there are people who care about a good over all experience there are better and safer options, in gameplay, damage and fantasy.
Also, if you only care about numbers in a fantasy game you should probably focus on maths and less on playing fantasy games.
p.s. funny how some like try to annoy those who like fantasy in a fantasy game.

If you don’t commit to learning how to play your class through thick and thin is it even your Main?

I come here to play and have fun, not to stress myself managing 5-7 damage windows and an opener of 19-22 GCDs only to have a mega window of 4s that will be practically impossible to manage in a real fight, so the Aldrachi is completely ruled out for me. Then there is the fel-scarred, 10/10, but it has nothing that makes it feel like the HT and the little it has is there, so it has a -5 for me, 5 /10, works.
Then you have things like what they are doing to the warlock, mage and others XD
Once again, I am just making the situation clear, what each person does is their own thing.
p.s. First they laughed at me for worrying about fantasy and now they almost called me a meta sellout XD

You literally parse grey. The hero trees are the least of your worries. You don’t even understand the basics of playing the class well.

Expansion implies updates to classes. I have not seen any for mine so I am assuming that its just another raid tier that I have to pay for.

Seems like early doomer. New affix testing today and AMN will cause chaos damage to count as all other schools too. With new affixes amping certain types of damage DH might be fine…
They remove all of those affixes.
Also AMN doesn’t do what you said.

Agreed, it is funny how, many others have agreed and said very simlair stances which you have stated. Yet they feel the need to throw low witted sarcasm as if your saying something completely absurd.

Fel scarred was released and then it hasn’t been touched since. The animations are still missing, and it has one of the most bland and boring hero talents that do nothing to add to the fantasy of bigger powerful Demon. A truly spectacular blizzard dissapointment.

I’m not the least bit interested in a 3rd spec. I’d rather they focus on balancing the hero talents and adding some cool visuals.
Fel-Scarred is actually great for VDH. We just need a tuning pass to balance it with Aldrachi, and some better visuals. I can be patient for the latter, but the tuning needs to happen by TWW launch.

Pretty much this. You would think the class with the least specs/overlaps would be the easiest to “complete” but instead it gets next to nothing.
Fel-Scarred seems really bugged or needs a fairly large buff. The damage just isn’t there. Jedith was saying there are talents that are not interacting properly which is likely causing the lower-than-expected numbers we’re seeing.
Aldrachi is a mess rotation wise. They tried fixing it but its still not fun. At this point I doubt we’ll see any more changes to it, unfortunately.

Can we at least get the visual (wings) from Augury of the Primal Flame proc when we’re outside meta in Fel-Scarred?
I wonder if Fel-Scarred is caught in same attack power glitch that has Prot Pally underperforming? I don’t know details, but have heard from streamers (Tactyks) that attack power is bugged so abilities that scale with it are under-performing.
On the one hand, it’s a bummer we don’t have cool visuals yet. On the upside, Blizz (Ion) has said they fully intend to implement visuals for all hero talents. Some of the new visuals will be added at launch, and some as the xpac continues. SO… just because it’s not flashy now does not mean they intend to leave it that way. Only that they are prioritizing keeping to their content launch schedule and maybe other stuff needs artist time first.
