Wrong. Damage doesn’t break stealth for 3 seconds. All dots and aoe still do full damage.
Not sure if it does this as I don’t encounter mm too much. I don’t remember it doing that though as it was countered by fairie fire back in the day which was essentially the same thing.
Often glitches out and pets still actually get you out of stealth. Super annoying. I have literally had bm and dk pets chase me across an entire map after vanish for a solid 8 seconds lol
Also the difference between all of this and the DH abilities are that vanish is not a button baked into out rotation purely for the sake of damage. It is also easily counterable to dots (especially bleeds), aoes, flares, and spectral sight.
Vanish has 100% gotten more convenient to use over the years, but most classes have gotten the same treatment to one ability or another. I feel this is a poor comparison that you have made in regards to Dh’s immunity frames
