It is so funny, because with the data you posted, it is obvious to anyone that Dragonflight is a disaster.
More importantly, the drop in player numbers happened during the expansion. So people can´t even blame Shadowlands anymore.
Of course the cheery on the top is the biggest number drop happened in M+, which is Blizzards Esport baby that the entire game revolves around. If the game mode that Blizzard focuses on is suffering, how do people think the rest of the game is doing?
We don´t even have to guess really, anyone who isn´t blind can see the open world is dead.
And now we still have to listen to Echo and Limit raiders talk about this being the GOAT expansion because Blizzard listened to their terrible ideas.
Also for the record, the big drop in numbers even happened BEFORE Aug Evoker and Exodia. So top players can´t even blame failure of M+ DF on these things, no matter how hard they try.
Although yeah, clearly Exodia and Evoker have made things worse, but the issues were alrdy there bfore .5 (see the video for the numbers).
Top players did ask for this lobby game expansion. That Blizzard screwed up the lobby game is the cherry on top.

Yeah. Bellular is on this too. He’s like “yeah even though the numbers are down this is actually the best expansion “. It’s insane.
And they still try to blame Shadowlands even though we saw the drop season 2. It’s demented.

Oh yeah, by the way sorry for being rude I agree 100 % that Exodia and Evoker made things worse. I just think the biggest issues in this expansion were alrdy present before Exodia fiasco (as seen by fall in numbers before .5 disaster patch).
It is hilarious. Especially because his entire thing is posting vids about how the views are lower than ever as you point out. Comedian tier stuff at this point.

Complete flies into the faces of the players that say M+ keeps the game going.
Maybe Blizzard needs to do a bit of soul-searching and investigate why the older base game and expansions were so popular.
It is painfully obvious that the game is design around top end players now.

Well, I’ve been playing M+ since they released and now’s when I find em the easiest
While it’s true that there’s a comp with an amazing synergy that makes it way easier, pretty much any non stupid comp can get 3k+
S2 keys deal an insane amount of damage to the party, that’s why some feel they’re hard rn, but as long as ppl doesn’t die there’s no way to not time a key, regardless the dmg done
The so called “God comp” is just good because they’re bulky af

Hello, I see you replied to the thread. Mythic+ does keep the game going! The problem is the fact its the ONLY thing keeping the game going, haha! The rest of the game is complete garbage! No matter how much people might like playing Mythic+, most aren’t going to keep paying for a game every month to do one thing, haha!

People trying to compare this to Shadowlands and yet my friends and the guild are logging on more regularly during Dragonflight than they ever were in SL.
Maybe it’s time for some people to re-evaluate what they really want out of this game and make the call to leave it behind if that value has degraded to a point of no return.

Doesn’t it agree with it? Boring season 2 + Aug Vok + raid or die + just lack of medium core activities means M+ players are unhappy. Drop in M+ players leads to drop in all players. Raiding World First and other communities praise the expansion but M+ is in bad shape so the expansion does badly.
Shadowlands was supported by M+ because Shadowlands M+ was fun. Fun M+ meant Blizzard trucked to the finish line in spite of awful raids awful world quest content etc.
Blizzard has pushed world content every 2 months but numbers keep dipping because the M+ players who propped the game up are bored.

Well Preach gaming, Echo and Limit players convinced Blizzard that actually casual players don´t care about player power or really anything at all.
Just throw mounts and cosmetics at the them and the casuals will be happy (even though they alrdy have like hundreds of mounts and thousands of cosmetics).
Prepare for ur thread to be flagged and disappeared by Blizzard btw, it is what the Dragonflight defense squad did to my last thread lol.

The timers this season are pretty forgiving. I’ve only been pushing DF keys for about 3 weeks (came back to the game in July) and not doing any high ones, but I’ve had groups wipe a couple times and still time the key.

This too. There’s tons of world content but it sucks it’s all the same mount grinds. Where’s my Brawlers Guild type content? Fun content that I can play at my own pace that excites me? It’s all mount grinds very little active gameplay.

I thought people liked the challenge. I’m not coming at you here, just making a point that more people engage with M+ when it is easier.
This is my beef with the system, people that defend it, do so because it is the most lucrative form of content in the game when it comes to gearing.
Maybe Blizzard was trying to bring it into line with DF season 2 with the rest of the end game.

Also a mistake by Blizz, so much of DF content is bizarro events you have to wait for (and then to top it off, the events are not even rewarding in player power).
Like who on earth are Blizzard even designing the open world for at this point? I have no idea.
Doing stuff at ur own pace is exactly why Classic HC is enjoying popularity at the moment. Which to be honest it should not. THe game is 20 years old at this point. It literally should not be able to compete at all with retail.

Absolutely. I didn’t push that high in Legion, but DF’s KSM hit more like BFA’s 10s. (I think that’s keystone conquerer?)
