Devs STILL haven't done pathfinder

Way to take it personally there, Caevan. Did you read all of what i said? There could be many reasons the devs don’t play the game.

Your issue isn’t with me.

What? How would any of us even know this?

No, it’s not, it’s with wild claims that people make up on the spot, such as the OP.

To be fair, I know quite a few people in the gaming industry (mostly scripting and animation) who don’t casually play their own games. There are a few who don’t play video games at all.

It’s possible to be passionate for developing a game without being a passionate player of that game.

Sadly in this case passion=/= great design decisions

There you go.

Some devs have their accounts public, thing is I figure a lot don’t for the sheer and simple fact that they want to actually enjoy the game. So many harass them just because you know they can. Look at how they get treated on their personal, not work twitters alone. They are human being folks, not omnipotent. Some want to separate work and play. Frankly this post is laughable to me a whole. To add to that, so what if they haven’t completed it? Plenty haven’t, some just don’t like flying, I do however, and respect their choice not to.

If they remove/delay flying then they can put off finishing up the art on top of mountains

The dev’s saying they didn’t want flying is like saying they no longer want a job! because without flying there would be no flying mounts to sell, players would quit and dev’s would have no income!

If we had no flying in WoW, I wouldn’t be here to play it!

Very few, not nearly enough for any of us to make a sound judgement like some of these people, as well as the OP, did in this thread.

Remove grindy pathfinder!!

They did this with Argus and the zone looked unfinished, anywhere on the ground if you looked up near the edges it was awful!

This is exactly why it’s funny. If you can get it without trying, they’re clearly not playing their own game (which surprises no one probably).

It saves a lot of money not having to pay people to work on areas that people will never see. It is also the reason they’d love to take flying away. It’s all about money.

We’ve learned from Blizzcon 2019 Ion Hazzikostas is the worst judge of what “they” want.

I tried adding extra likes, but I could only fit one. /highfive

LOL, Blizzard can afford it! and if they want to give us a quality game and a finished product it will include tree tops and mountain tops and anything else that can be seen while flying even if we didn’t have it!

Every company tries to save $$ where they can. I’m just saying that if they made us only use ground mounts, then they would save money and their bosses would be happy because the shareholders would be happy.

I work at one of the main Big Box Hardware stores, stocking the Lumber and Drywall a lot and generally working in Lumber/building materials:

I never buy wood there.

Your acting like flying is needed to do anything in BFA maybe they didn’t get it because they don’t care about flying

He’s referring to their content which is mostly boring, trivial scripted PvE stuff. The stuff people play for ~2 weeks and get tired of.

That’s why people want flying. So they can skip most of their content.

The world has been pretty boring for years and world quests did nothing to really change that.

They could easily make the world more player-driven, random and dangerous but they refuse to do that. Less scripted content, more Mysterium, Tremendum, Et Fascinans.

Because the devs don’t want flying AT ALL.

Pathfinder is a compromise that allows flight to remain alive.

Maybe stop looking the gift horse in the mouth?
