I got pathfinder a long time ago.
My point is they TOOK flying away from players. Then said if you just play the game you’ll get it. They don’t have it.
Guess that means they don’t want it.
Scroll up a little, I posted the interview with ion from 2015.
Also the one where they announced pathfinder as compromise.
i haven’t done pathfinder either.
it doesn’t mean it’s bad, it just means i’m apathetic.
it’s not going anywhere, there was no race… what’s the rush?
If you are talking about the Dev who I think you are talking about, the only thing they don’t have complete is exploration and rep from one area. Everything else is done.
So they pretty much have done everything themselves. Except that one part.
I can see not spending a ton of time in that one area if you aren’t particularly bothered by not being able to fly.
They may not like this game. If that’s so, then it explains a bit.
they haven’t done it because it’s our punishment. you think they are going to practice what they preach?
I didn’t get pathfinder done until sometime last week, I took my time pacing myself. I only pushed it so I can get mechagnomes when they come, no other reason. Didn’t bother me at all not being able to fly across all 12 of my characters.
I’m doing Pathfinder right now. I need the reps for allied races and other stuff anyway…
I feel like the people who complain just don’t want to play the game. I don’t know why they need flying…
I have flying
congrats to you!
My point is they took something players had to prove a point and failed. Now the fact they don’t even wanna do their own content shows how bad it is.
- Perhaps, quite likely I believe, the accounts they have publicly have little play time
- They personally do not like flying, I have a buddy with fear of heights that hates it
- They focus on pvp almost exclusively and so have not done the pve content.
Any number of reasons for this. Most of them have twitters, why not ask them rather than coming here and making assumptive statements?
You’ve got it backwards actually. The devs wanted to remove flying altogether. It makes it harder to design the terrain becausae they have to account for 3 dimensions, and it makes quest design harder because people can just avoid all the meaningless trash and fly directly to the target.
They tried to remove it all together at the end of MOP, and they got overruled when so many people cancelled Blizzard literally added “the removal of flying,” as a reason to select when you cancel. They got overruled by the people in charge. Pathfinder has been their petty revenge on the player base for not just rolling over and accepting whatever they want ever since.
So…let me get this right. The people in charge paid attention to the player base and made them add flying back in…but have subsequently ignored that same player base while the devs took “petty revenge” on the player base.
Be less ridiculous.
I don’t think Scarab Lords have “little play time”
Thats why they always have Blizz-con in California so they can simply drive over to the rented arena
do you understand that not everyone gobbles up every bit of content asap?
there are plenty of things which you haven’t done…
it’s almost as if peoples lives and schedules change during any given 10+ year period…
So what?
This may shock you, but a lot of developers like other games too…
Considering they are American devs and knowing about America’s ultra corporate and crunch, they are probably too abused and tired to play games since they are forced to work for ungodly amounts of time
