I do agree with the person in another thread who said they made the worst possible choice.
If they were going to leave it as is, (which they did) they should have held it until launch.
By launching it in prepatch unchanged, they’ve basically given some percent of players a notable early boost (for raids and probably moreso BGs/Arena) all entirely based on luck, and sent others down a path of deep frustration.
The drop rate is clearly low enough you can get jacked with poor luck, because well, somewhere likely between 5-20% of players are just going to fail for 800+ solves because of probabilities.
The price you pay for min/maxing content not even out yet. Those items will last you one raid tier, you have 5 base levels to gain and entire said tier to find it in and you have to have it “now now now”. If you can run the same boss for an entire 4 months and never see a trinket drop, this is really no different if it’s important to you.
Have you spent 100+ hours grinding it yet like I have? Didnt think so… Bye…

100+ hours? I have farmed every single item the profession has to offer on my main in retail when it was current, once more on a horde alt AND working on it again. And you’re chuffed over 100 hours? HAHAHAHAHAHA

And again, you do not have to have it now. You don’t get an option of instant handout in a raid environment, why expect an easy hand out here? I saw my BiS sigil for my DK drop once the entirety of the tier and someone else got it. Never missed a week, and ran it weekly on an alt. Why are you suddenly so surprised RNG is RNG? New to the game?
No ones talking about retail. Everyone did it on retail 14 years ago when the expansion was nearly 2 years long without an accelerated cadence… The expansion will be over this time next year… Please dont be dented in the head… Blocking you now because I have zero time or patience for dense people. 100+ hours in less than 3 weeks of it being out is a crazy amount of time.

LEGION. Scroll up and read that. There’s a difference in time sink to get things, and RNG completely screwing you out of all of the items for 230942834298374293847 hours played because “RNG”. That’s not good game design no matter how many congestive heart failures you endure, and how much extra time you have to play than others.
