I can get behind that. I think it’s the best argument to include RDF. It would be nice if the LFG tool they plan on implementing could be cross realm to help towards that same goal.

WotLK classic was dead the moment you said LFD was not included. That is THE defining aspect that made Wrath great. Nothing else comes even CLOSE to how useful and game defining it was. And your replacement is not only unethical, its monstrous.

Speaking of…why not just have RDF for dungeons and heroics AND give us mythic + dungeons in wrath that use the LFG tool.
Yes yes retail but I’ve been on servers that do that and it’s really cool to do it at the wrath level, they also did tempest keep as a mythic dungeon was kinda nuts

I’d be very on board with allowing the LFG system to pull cross server players.
The “anonymous face you’ll never see again” issue of cross realm LFD only exists when you literally can’t invite them to your group again.
Server based communities don’t really make sense when you can pay money to swap them at any time.

The same reason you think people wont run heroics after the 2nd week of wotlk was the same reason people wouldn’t have run heroics after the 2nd week of wotlk in the original release.
None of their proposed changes would play out any differently in the first two weeks of original wotlk. And now, it seems like they will bump heroic emblems to match the tier naxx drops when ulduar comes out instead of matching ulduar when TOC came out, so just moving it up earlier to be consistent.

Hi Blizz,
As you mentioned in your article, WotLK raid and dungeon items can had unique art. One of the things I remember about WotLK years ago was the amount of gear with different styles and colors. Some gear had similar styles, but with different colors, and I felt compelled to try and collect them all. However bag space was limiting issue on this endeavor, as well as wanting to equip the best items.
With the focus of everyone wanting to put on their best and in items, all the unique artwork and gear available either gets replaced and deleted, or stuck in storage never to be seen again.
To help preserve the unique artwork of this expansion I think it would be awesome if Transmog was implemented in this expansion.
Granted I know this feature didn’t come about until cataclysm, but I think it would be a welcome change that everyone could enjoy.

Classic Era was never #NoChanges and suggesting it’s some #NoChanges safety bunker is a gross misrepresentation.

I reckon these changes are good for the game, look @ the tbc community they wanted nerfs in sunwell week 1 lmao. I enjoying spamming dungeons since i play both M+ in retail and heroics in tbc. Having some change to keep the game relevant is great!

Are they trying to drive Wrath into the ground so that we want to play Dragonflight more than classic so that they can say “See, you think you do, but you don’t…”

Doesn’t matter what changes they make in gameplay, because the crappy 2022 Classic player community mindset already ruined the overall game outside of certain close guild environments, & Blizzard isn’t willing to lose subscribers to get rid of the cheaters, bots, etc. that primarily contributed to the demise of the “server community”.
The most authentic change they could make is to remove layering.
Go play another game you’re wasting ur time
