Malfurion feels guilty for rushing off which led to Ysera chasing after him and getting Mind Controlled which led to her demise and decided to offer his own life in exchange for her return to life.
I mean he can feel guilty but he’s still wrong.
I am OK with Mafurion being gone, just as I was glad Thrall was gone.

Malfurion has a tie to Ardenweald because he is basically ascended into becoming a wild god himself. A wild god tier being had to take Ysera’s pact with the winter queen on to allow her to leave. That is why any old green dragon could not do so. It is probable even Ysera wouldn’t of made the cut if Elune hadn’t intervene personally.
