which is better for devastate slow weapon or fast weapon?(same dps weapons), or doesn’t matter?
which is better of prot warrior overall?
if you’re just concerned about devastate, a slower weapon, assuming equal dps etc, is better.
But you still need to consider HS, which favors a fast weapon if you have enough rage to spend
for me its 1.5 attack speed fists
For a warrior you would ideally carry a slow weapon and a fast weapon.
A slow weapon will cause devastate to hit harder and will give you better threat/damage when in low rage situations like questing or some 5 mans.
A faster weapon will allow you to get in more heroic strikes or cleaves, but requires situations where you have the rage to burn like raid bosses and some 5 mans.
If you’re forced to choose go for the fast weapon- it will be better more often.
