A lot of people like doing the duel tourney on classic, which really doesn’t require much time investment lol
BGs aren’t going to require you to have insane gear to do them, pre raid/dungeon gear is more than fine even if you had a serious team, only exceptions for needing gear is warriors which would just get funneled raid gear for a BG team anyways
idk anything about the duel tourney tbh. But, BGs now are the same as then. You can just get conquest gear with some benthic gear and be fine in randoms as we speak. Both are pretty casual for casual content.
Streamers just want people to play classic to increase their streaming base.
Dilly must have never had that oooooone piece not drop for him that he needed. Hello transcendence shoulders, you would look lovely with the other 7 pieces I have
Never did get them… but hey gearing is so much better in classic!
He’s not wrong coming from a casual pov, but it’s just the same on retail wow from a casual pov.

Time will tell if this holds any water
From what I remember the balance issues that plagued Vanilla Wow will rear it’s ugly head again
And once these causal players aren’t raider’s with the gear gap it will highlight even more
I hope I am wrong but already seeing these players complaining .
Yeah duels are popular but world PvP is seriously lacking not talking about your 3 v 3 either
In classic you get alot of runners and players who prefer to log off than partake in PvP mass PvP that is
Battlegrounds once Classic wow is more mature is when an actual real assessment can be made
To say otherwise either for or against is too early
Including my comments
I’ve had that happen plenty of times
You realize that same thing happens in BfA except that one piece you want also needs to war/titanforge and get a socket otherwise then it’s worthless lol
You just have the same problems just exaggerated more in BfA which is why I don’t think the gearing is anywhere near comparable
But casual wise it is pretty similar. There’s just a million ways to gear in bfa so it’s actually quicker.
People have played WoW for so long at this point that the raids in vanilla are so incredibly easy to pug even if you’re casual so I just don’t think this is really true
Like MC and Ony are nearly as straightforward as LFR, there really isn’t that big of a barrier to entry honestly
Most pugs clear full MC nowadays compared to in the past where MC took an extremely long amount of time to finish, players are just better and have way more information out that the raids really aren’t that difficult (obviously some of the later ones will be harder but I really don’t see casuals falling that far behind)
As for BGs the thing is most people will just deal a high amount of damage as long as they have pre raid gear, where gear honestly helps out a lot is certain 1v1 situations (harder to say survive a rogue with people not having trinkets with low health pools) but in BGs that kinda stuff isn’t going to be relevant depending on your class
If you picked warrior tho for example that class is super gear dependent and also not really friendly to solo level with too so idk there are situations where things are rough and situations where things are really simple too, just depends on what people chose as their class but there’s always advantages/disadvantages to everything
nah, classic is like this beautiful piece of raw clay that can be molded into a masterpiece (wotlk)
whereas if you try to mold bfa you just get your hands covered in poo
WoTLK was when Ret seals/judgments were really well done. There was a lot of depth to being in the right seal for the occasion, while also managing mana. I really miss that build tbh.
