Thread I made. Should I drop 2 pts from Burn to Ashes to pick 2 in Crashing Chaos? Feels counterintuitive to reduce incin dmg like that.

Think as destro you have 2 gear sets
first gear set u play like 40% haste 75% mastery with chaos incarnate and 4 set and u just lob 350k bolts all game.
second gear set ur 40% vers 50% haste and run rifts for when you are in a lobby where u are the only caster and its hard to get alot of bolts.

I played all 3 last season and out of all 3 I enjoyed aff and destro the most. if I had to choose no matter what I’d probably pick destro. it’s a very satisfying design to know you’re about to smoke someone in contrast to cancer lock but jinx has really done quite well with simplifying cancer lock. I haven’t had a chance to play either this season been playing 8 hpals and a disc priest but looks like all 3 lock specs are doing well enough.

Question - why have Burn to Ashes in this build instead of Crashing Chaos? If we’re going all in on juicy Bolts.

To be able to pump damage inbetween your bolts while you are generating soul shards. Incinerate can crit for 200-250k its really good. You can drop burn to ashes for crashing chaos if you want its preference.
