What site is this?
Most games I played were before inflation. You got glad as Aug tho right?
I certainly donât feel proud of that elite. Thatâs why I also got elite on my enh.
Aug was too broken for my taste. It didnât feel right to abuse it.
cast*
what about 5000 rounds of shuffle, do you feel proud of that 1?
Idk. Iâve been a 3k shaman in shuffle where I was in the top 25. I was a top 25 enh in regular 3s throughout shadowlands. Iâd say Iâm doing at least decent.
But abusing classes like Aug makes me feel bad. It was fun, but grossly overtuned.
5k rounds in a hilariously inflated season
Hereâs where lil bro ended last season btw
Both elites were resto pilots tho
If only things that mattered made you feel bad
Not sure why it says that. I def hit 2400 as enh last season. Probably because I got a race change and didnât queue much towards the end of the season.
That just shows where you ended
I didnât question whether you got elite because anyone willing to slam their head into the brick wall that is shuffle for 2k+ rounds should get elite
I do find it telling that the only take away from that was âidk why it doesnât show I got elite cuz I didâ lmao
I donât slam my head in the wall for elite lol. I just play the game a lot early in the season because I love this game and the queues are good then. Towards mid season I tend to play less because queues are bad.
I could just wait for inflation so my win loss looks cool, but I like playing the game, so who cares?
Whatever man. No point in having this conversation. Have a good night brother.
Drustvar.
Yes.
lizard player hisssssss
I mean, yeah, I imagine lizards hiss.
Ye good luck convincing literally anyone that youâre sitting hundreds of 30+ minute shuffle queues 4fun
Lil bro queues 5k games in crimson for legend to try and beat the pilot accusations just to have his legend disrespected so hard that he adopted the âlegend doesnât matterâ mentality
Canât say the same to PDFs
I see some interesting points being established towards one of my long time fav specs in the game, so Iâll try to chime in with as little bias as possible.
Iâd say that it has come down to this stage only because of how the rest of the game is designed. The way I see it, the flow of PvP currently does not allow a healthy portrayal of the spec regardless of how many tuning sessions it undergoes. Iâd strongly wager that even a complete redesign (by current dev standards) wouldnât make it feel rotationally fluid, and even worse would come with gameplay mechanics that would be deemed âtoxicâ for the opposition either because of one of two reasons â A. The spec has some atrociously over tuned mechanics that do not have reasonable counterplays or B. Itâs capability vastly outshines the ideal standards of its performance allowing it to be extremely potent with rudimentary-level gameplay.
I think most of them ride on this false and phantom principle on how the spec should be performing without encapsulating all the surrounding factors in todayâs game.
I think thatâs a grave mistake which comes with game-changing consequences. The modern philosophy that encourages rot comps to exist is to slow down the game by bolstering defensives and making them far less punishable than they need to be. Instead, they should have resorted to other alternatives. Sequestering a ârotâ profile to present its threat based on unfiltered attrition is seemingly good on paper but leads to a mundane user experience (on the receiving end). Instead, attrition should be an identified gameplay facet for rot comps if theyâre able to circumvent harsh offensive onslaughts (with significant team resources) that would have been lethal. In other words, rot comps should be just as punishable as they would be for the opposing healer playing into them if bad decisions were made and barely any efforts were made to remediate those decisions. I believe thatâs how you correctly represent rot comps in a âbalancedâ PvP platform. As for affâs design, I agree itâs a tall task to accommodate for it to feel good to play while also making it fun to play against in a setting such as what we have today.
The way Iâve commonly depicted affâs role (from most of the pre-BFA iterations) is that itâs a direct test for the opposing healer to efficiently keep their team alive using various methods (dispels, positioning, disruptions, mana conservation etcâŠ). It held a unique responsibility of rotting the entire team if they werenât vigilant with their positioning or disruptive gameplay until sp in Legion started to do the same. Rot comps are notorious for encouraging long games obviously, but as long as the long games are being driven by an offensive toolkit and not by a highly defensive one, I think its safe to infer that teams will generally find ways to feasibly suppress their impact without having to move mountains in order to capitalize on mistakes or find solid leverage points.
I donât think so. I say that because I donât see it being a long-term solution. Maybe it can be a transient change which can positively make the game better in a rather slow paced meta, but clear counterplays in general enables the common âtit for tatâ strategy (very analogous to a strict CD driven gameplay IMO), rather than incorporating a mix of skill, outplays, and coordinative utilization of a deep arsenal.
Sure Ok . . .
And then you watch a stream of a warlock actually doing this and theyâre pouring sweat all over their desk.
There it is again.
Its obvious you dont like affliction and thats fine but acting as if tab targeting with jinx is killing teams is pretty disingenuous.
If lock sets up a soul rot go and smashes buttons without being answered, yes, things die. Its almost like thats exactly what happens if any spec in the game is just allowed to pve with no stops.
Two month old thread dude
Is there a statute of limitations on saying dumb things.
Honestly i didnt realize the dh necroâd this ![]()
As always, nerf dh.
