It needs a buff to damage and survivability as well as an instant cast cc. It just gets ran over by melee and gets kited by fast casts like spriest.

If you’re referring to the posts we made back and forth last week i don’t remember anyone calling for a buff. Wasn’t the discussion centered around destro being the most often/best kill target?
Bro, that celsius guy has made three separate posts in different threads that warlock needs an extra buff to armor/survivability, a buff to damage, and a form of hard cc that isnt casted (an extra stun or knock).
He also said that warlock struggles into shadow priest because they move too fast and can kite the warlock.
That’s what I’m referencing.

That guy is crazy, lock doesn’t need anything else nor does it need a nerf. I’m sure people will disagree with the later part of that statement but whatever.

Just giving aff different schools of magic would be tremendous for the spec. That’s literally all it would need with maybe an instant like shadowburn to execute. Its so hard to balance without making it super OP or weak AF.

Making ua or drain a combo school that can be cast while fear is locked would fit with blizzard’s recent design style

It would make sense for affy to have shaodow burn since its a shadow ability. It def needs something to be able to finish. At the moment affliction has no finishing power on its own.
