If they ever revamped IF, I’d add this:
-
Access to the IF Airfield from IF (a tunnel exists, it’s just blocked. unblock it.)
-
Forlorn Cavern lake dug deeper, perhaps to include an underwater cave like we see scattered about much of Azeroth - also, perfect place for a little fish-type food shack/bar.
-
With the lack of actual players in IF, it makes the vastness more vast. I’d like to see it populated with more NPC’s and building assets to reduce how empty it is. (or give players a reason to go there!)
-
The bank needs small fatigue mats/carpets in front of the tellers. I’ve been standing here for eons. My feet hurt.
-
Military Ward / Hall of Arms - maybe post some NPC’s in a formation that performs an animation one an hour or something / add a few memorials / display some awesome Dwarf weapons, etc.
-
Since the day I first stepped foot in IF, I’ve wondered why there aren’t outdoor tables at Bruuk’s Corner. Seems like something Dwarves would have.
-
You’re telling me in all these years the Gnomes haven’t figured out how to dig to make Tinker Town bigger or something?
-
Love the hall of explorers, but at this point we’ve done so much exploring - why hasn’t it been updated to reflect that? MY GOD MAN this could be a HISTORY HALL OF ALL OF THE EXPACS EXPLORATIONS (add a souvenir shop)
-
Hall of Mysteries is 18 NPC’s standing around in a building with no assets - the true mystery is why? There is literally nothing there.
IF is very vast, cavernous - with lack of players, it makes it all the more so. I really would like to see more assets scattered about - give it some clutter, some more NPC’s, something to make people go there. They tend to tunnel everyone to SW and whatever main area is in “current expac”.
Why not add portal hubs to all the capital cities, so people can choose to hang out where they want to , not just because 1 is more convenient than another.
Gnome players in my guild joke and say Tinker Town has a hidden Gnome size door that leads to a vast complex underground Gnomish city.
Juspion knows about it but he’s like those clips online with a giant golden retriever trying to squeeze himself through a tiny cat door with no success.
No Norman, we have a bigger Tinkertown at home.
Tinkertown at home: Mechagon in it’s current state where you only have a junkyard populated by hostile npcs
Give it the Boralus treatment! I loved how alive that city felt. It’s still my favorite after all these years.
Hey! I take offense!
(Nah, I actually RP’ed that everyone there was massacred during the Year of the Scourge campaign.)
Stop crippling the Sunreavers command! They cant regenerate!
Just kill Baine off instead. Yeah, and do it because the Orcs or Forsaken did something so the Alliance remains true to form.
This whole thread has become some sort of negotiation for the life of Baine. How did it come to this.
Baine’s been negotiating for his life since he showed up.
Baine is a good boi and deserves some appreciation.
Its just that, like a lot of big lore characters, Blizzard substituted good writing for “And then, things got worse…” plot development.
As Zero Punctuation put it
“I’d really like for writers to one day understand that writing a Strong character doesn’t mean running them over with a freight train of pain inflicted to them to make them seem sympathetic.”
Whatever this thread started as, it’s long gone by now.
This is the way of the forums.
We will only return this thread to the original topic if you pay me $50 in cash, right now, or we get to raze Stromgarde to the very last brick so all resources can be devoted to making Gilneas a proper faction city.
Who needs sympathy when death is as much fun as being a DK? Now, that I don’t have to hear that damn Lich King, my mind has been free to rediscover who I once was and who I am now!
The power of Je- I mean the Light Compels them! smacks with Ashbringer
Cringes then opens his eyes and checks himself out
Whoaaa… That didn’t even hurt…
Do it again.
Hahahaaaa!
Lohkash keeps asking for cash donations and reparations. Fellas, I think this guy might be broke actually.
Hey, now, do you know how much it’s costing to rebuild Zandalar? This is what happens when you use gold as a building material.
no, Loh’s name is just the warning.
He’s that merchant you fear in Medieval 2 Total War who constantly siezes -your- merchants assets to make you low cash.
