We just about lost the game, then the group disbanded, I was “removed from group” and then got the deserter debuff. Just gonna sit here for 15 min I guess.

Or do you mean the game was nearly over and you guys were going to lose?
We were just about to show the game as over and lost. I could be wrong but it’s like I was booted? And then marked deserter? But it was just at the last second when we were about to be marked as the losers?
Blizzard has been having server issues this weekend because of a DDoS.
Maybe it was related to that?
Unless you pissed off your teammates? They could have mass reported you to boot you out.
Entirely possible I got the boot on purpose I suppose. There was a guy at the very beginning of the game who was bemoaning that I didn’t heal him after he left me at the Quarry to defend all by myself and ran way out of range. When I pointed it out he wanted to argue, but that was way at the beginning of the game. /shrug I didn’t think that would do it, honestly. And after 10 minutes of gameplay where I figured that was pretty much a done discussion. But honestly anything’s possible.
Yeah, if he was part of a premade, they could have mass reported you near the end of the game out of spite.

ive seen druids sit in the alterac valley cave for 45 mins and not get booted.
but if theres 4 or 5 people who all report some1 afk at the same time i believe its an auto boot… even if that player is top damage / top activity by miles and clearly not AFK
