So from someone who doesn’t play Demon Hunter for all that is worth, I still believe that DHs deserve dynamic flying. I mean if Illidan was able to fly, then it totally fits with class fantasy. I mean they have wings…

DHs don’t have permanent wings like Illidan so no they don’t deserve to fly.
Drakthyr on the other hand had bigger wings than most of the mounts they were riding. Permanent wings. They actually deserved it.

i agree. DH’s need dynamic flying with their wings. they should also get a summoning closet ability and some sort of lust as well.

Doubt they’ll give em flying. But given they changed Dracthyr maybe more player support could make it happen.

Tbh I’m on the DH’s side though. Dynamic flying would be cool, regardless of nitpicking why they should/shouldn’t be allowed to.

If you were to drop a DH for an infinite distance, they would have permanent wings. Besides, fun should be a priority when it doesn’t break the game. I don’t think DHs flying would be gamebreaking or saddening to a such degree that we need to pick out ingame examples to convince us how it isn’t possible. Maybe they learnt dragonriding because of training.

Clip demon hunter’s wings.
Considering they let Fel Orcs rampage across Outland, enslaved the Broken tribes and tried to steal all the water from the planet to blackmail the population into joining them, I would say the only thing Demon Hunters deserve is life in prison lol
I wrote about this in another thread (since I now have a DH alt), but in summary: DH’s should not have dynamic flight, but there is no reason they couldn’t have a dynamic glide. All the momentum-based advantages, but without the self-propulsion; you start high, and either glide as far as your momentum takes you (including the ‘updraft’ effects of orientation and occasional in-world ‘tornados’), or drop like a stone.
No ‘flaps’, no ‘surges’, just pure gliding based on aerodynamics. Because let’s face it, demon hunters are not as ‘aerodynamic’ as they might wish they were.
