Demon Hunter Lowest Performing Class, It Needs Buffs

Demon Hunter sits at the bottom of classes, and Havoc is almost the lowest spec (there are specs like aug, fire mage, sub, etc that all have better performing specs within their class). Demon Hunter needs buffs, a rework, whatever it is, it needs it.

Invest now for when it’s kneejerk buffed into something as strong as BM in a few weeks.

The illidari are sleeping in their prisons until blizzard tells cordana to go wake them up and then they will start terrorizing the game

thats what people said 2 months ago

Two more weeks.

Finally dusted mine off as glimpse always was cool outplay potential. Just bfa kinda ruined dh for me for a while

id be perfectly fine never seeing a DH again. Pre legion was fine without them.

wait so a melee thats squishiest, does mid damage, has no root break, and has to use reactive cc prevention is cringe? warriors and rets are so cool!

A) The spec has been a MAX of 10 buttons since its inception.
B) OP for most of the time its been in the game
C) Roleplay is irrelevant.
D) MoP Demo locks and glyph of demo hunting were better in every way shape and form from both RP and playstyle.

DH in pvp currently is not only the most complicated melee outside of rogue specs but has 25 buttons, keep lying, shaman is far easier
it takes one second to see how cringe this community is, actively lying about specs to make them bad so theirs can be better, so unfortunate

My ele has 34 and I am playing a few passives instead of buttons. My mage is maxing out my binds at like 35 or 37.

shaman is harder actually.

The only cringe person here is you, trying to claim DH is a hard spec that deserves to be OP again.

No one is lying, we are saying they are mid tier. But they are also easy to play. They have been blatantly OP to the point where double DH was the best comp numerous seasons.

They are no longer easy to play like they were, and past performance should never be a reason for a spec to be f tier, just because you got “farmed by dh in dragonflight”

I think we should argue about which specs take more skill. We need to know exactly who is right and by how much. /s

In the meantime, DH is the worst class when you look at the numbers (outside of BGBlitz where they seem to be doing well). Havoc is one of the worst specs.

Also, we are coming up to the 1 year anniversary since the last time DH had any changes to their core and spec talent trees.

I dont think the easier class argument is rlly all that great. As many specs dont have a super hard complex dps rotation. DH gained a lot of control over the expansions. And blizz dumbed down plenty of things (including feral for some reason). Rlly isnt any different than arms.

Also doesn’t need to be like bfa, df etc… lvls of broken though.

But yeah. Aldrachi is much harder than fel also.

DH actually has a fair few buttons, it’s not just blade dance off cooldown and hope for the best.

DH’s simplicity is mirrored across most melee these days whether they like to admit it or not.

Mediocre in Legion, only OP for the latter half of BfA and over shadowed by fire mage, assa rogue, and Destro lock (honourable mentions to UHDK for a few seasons too), mediocre to good for most of SL barring S2 boomie/DH, obnoxious in S1 and S3 of DF.

Being hyperbolic doesn’t help.

Why, half the people on these forums play cringe crap like tank specs, BM Hunter or fury warrior (the other garage door opener specs like DH) but then get bent out of shape over DH because their ego gets hurt they get called easy.

What you can do with Warrior overshadows DH due to the simplicity of DH’s buttons. Warrior is the great enabler spec, and no matter how much we like to think imprison into fear is high IQ it’s just a small amount of set up that most other classes require for their cc too.

Shaman has button bloat and rotationally you don’t require that. Ele shaman is the DH of casters and has been for a long time since you don’t cast, generally speaking, and you have a lot of instant cast defensives that are very strong.

Plus your initial claim was ten buttons, don’t be high and mighty because your button bloat class has slightly more than DH.

Ele isnt. Like legitimately it just isnt.

Yeah guy is cooked if he thinks it’s hard to play. Only issue with DH right now is rogue, feral, and BM Hunter are strong which are things that traditionally run over DH. One tuning pass later and it’s going to be dumpstering people, legit.

They are, they’re just harder to survive on because stuff that’s a hard match to for you is good right now which sucks. Damage is just as easy as ever to get out, which is about par for the course for melee into anything but frost mage.
