I recently opened a ticket that I was unable to create a DH on a realm that I had 120s on, after clicking on the “create character” button I was done it said “The creation of this type of class is currently throttled”…
It was like this for 2 days in a row yesterday and today, but for some reason I was finally able to make my demon hunter on my specific realm just now. So i canceled the ticket.
I feel like I should post this just so that the devs are aware of this issue, if anyone knows why this came up any information would be greatly appreciated! I wonder if it’s simply ‘too many DH being created’. I think something similar happened in the beginning of Legion.
This mechanic is intended to activate if you make too many characters too quickly.

Wait how is this a solution? This is just the reason its happening… I have waited atleast 12 hours now and i still cant make another DH

My understanding is it was 24 hours, thought in the past it was listed as 2-24 hours,
Repeated attempts can lengthen the waiting period,

The waiting time should be 24 hours.

Probably not required as there really isn’t anything additional we can offer here. If you have been throttled from creating a new Demon Hunter the only option is to wait until the cooldown expires. Customer support is not able to circumvent that restriction.
If you feel that restriction should be changed, please post in the General Discussion forum with your feedback. CS has no impact on the design or functionality of the game, such commentary needs to be seen by our Devs.

Is there a way to track the timer or is it a flat 24 hours. I leveled with my girlfriend to 70 just so she could make one. She wasn’t happy with the name so she deleted in a made a new one, mind you she never even entered the world, and now can’t create another one.
