I dont think they will simply because anytime its been brought up, they’ve stuck to their guns. Its like Evokers for example, they will ALWAYS be a dracthyr class only. Because its desgined entirely around them being built together.
The biggest issue here is the meta form. The meta model is litterally just one big ol’model and sure they could use the dracthyr variant they made. But the reason drac’s cant use transmog is because of the model they used.
Im personally A-ok with DH being as it is. I Feel race/lore locked classes are fine and add a reason why when you see one you know what it is and why.
Until blizzard come out and say they will… id count on them not. Especially with it being confirmed illidan is coming back, illidan hates anything that isn’t an elf. He refused to train those that are not an elf, or some kind. Now void elves, nightborne and the like becoming DH’s? I could see it. But he’s not going to let say a tauren or a human become one.
And DH lore indicates that likely… it’s not even possible.(We know dark spear do something similar, as do humans. But its not the same. The differences are minor but enough for them to likely not stretch it for them. Rather I think we could see them added as a spec for lock.) But who knows. At this point they might just remove DH completely given how little they seem to care about our existence.
We are not Illidan we only have a fraction of his power. I do agree in Metamorphosis we should be able to change how our demon form is. As for opening dh up to other races. No not every class needs to be accessible by every race and if we are opened up it should only be to other elves.
I’m not wrong. The next 6 years of WoW are confirmed to having nothing to do with demons, and then after that no one is going to care to bring Sargeras back since there will be no narrative reason.
The Last Titan could mean Azeroth, it could also mean Sargeras. Illidan will eventually come back into the story and Sargeras with him. The World Soul saga is essentially going to be like Avengers where all the who’s who of NPCs come into the story.
I don’t know what to tell you but you’re wrong. These things have already been confirmed in interviews with Metzen.
The Titans will figure into the story, which means either Illidan and Sargeras come with them or Sargeras will bust out of his prison while we’re dealing with the Void.
It shows how little you pay attention or know about the lore when you say things like Sargeras is dead. Illidan is a hugely popular RTS and MMO character for the Warcraft IP and you’re absolutely insane if you think him and WoW’s biggest baddie aren’t coming back someday.
