I’m sorry but demo warlock is actually the dumbest spec by far in pvp.
I’m fine if classes have 1 pet, maybe summon a second on a cooldown, sure. But 5 imps, 2 dogs, fel lord, tyrant + felguard well now i cant even see my screen.
Dying to NPC pets isn’t pvp, its simply just garbage class design.
It’s probably a lot of fun in pve, summoning your own demonic legion and all, but in pvp it just doesn’t fit.

I like going to DB ring the warlock and his goonsquad then getting axe tossed and cauterized by the burning legion while he never pressed a button other then axe toss.
Demo is the ultimate self play spec.
Press one of many summon demon buttons and get carried by AI pet swarm dps

Yes, let’s destroy all the class fantasy because you are not comfortable with pets on your screen.
The class already has a bizarre talent tree, where there is no synergy between various talents. Several stupid passive talents that only serve to buff the pet, and you still tell me that you would like it to lose its identity even more.
If you go to the warlock forum and ask their opinion on the subject, absolutely no one will say that they prefer to lose pets, everyone who plays warlock plays precisely because of the fantasy of being a master of demons.
it’s similar with BM, too many pets, too much auto dmg etc. It’s why its universally hated.
IMO, demonology should be “the pet spec”, affliction , “the dot spec”, and destro, “the high burst/instang dmg” spec.
And by “pet spec” I mean they utilize 1 pet to a greater degree, not 50.
It would be nice to have one season in the last 3 years where demo isn’t a top 2 caster
They should combine the two specs.
The pets are just dots anyways, except you can root them.

Idk how to fix the imp problem but it’s def a problem. even with pet nameplates off. with pet nameplates on it should be illegal
Demo would be much less insufferable if they removed pet AOE protection in PVP.
I’m sorry but if i wanna exterminate all your pets then that should be an option and counterplay to demo.
Pets having pmuch aoe immunity built into them makes it over the line for me.
I should be more then able to cleave every last imp/dog/felguard/tyrant off my screen with ring of fire/combust and living bomb on packs that massive.
I kill players much faster then any of demo’s pets.
as a rogue, I hate demo, its so hard to restealth against them. even if I spam fan of knives to try to apply crippling poison to all the adds, they still find a way to keep me in combat.
I dislike all NPC classes and am 10000% the removal of pets in PVP. Too many classes have pets, and now the classes that had 1 pet proc before now have 2-3, its getting out of hand.
I feel like they need to change how the enemy views pets since nobody seems to kill them anymore.
In Diablo 4, I think they make the necromancer’s pets mostly transparent on other players’ screens. Imagine faint, ghostly outlines when they move around, so your view isn’t completely blocked/cluttered.
You can’t really kill them.
Pets have 90% AOE damage reduction built into them. Even if you wanted to cleave them down its impossible.
What was the expansion or time in the game where the demo lock would go into like demonic form. That is badass as hell. Should just be designed more like that and go into god form as opposed to building a counter UI army.
I think it was the expansion before Legion.
Blizzard took Metamorphosis away from demo and gave it to DHs.
