The demo buffs end up being around a 10% damage increase overall, given how low their damage was i wouldnât say itâs overbuffed.
People hate demo so much that it being decent is already a red flag.
Locks now have no outstanding specs anymore, all 3 are relatively decently placed though and even if spriest swapped places with afflock in the meta now people still have that mob mentality, i assume whining about locks will continue for a while until the mob changes itâs whine target to something else.

I think locks probably fell off the awc rosters with these changes, i could be wrong but guess weâll see.

My understanding is that its most common to get 2p. 4p is DP increases your damage by 2% for 10 seconds, multiple applications overlap. These are all nerfed by 50% in pvp right? imo, its weak, especially since youâre getting really awkward stats on your gear to get it.
Just my 2 cents, but i was playing archon shadow for the entire pre season and i thought it was very powerful. It was just flattening team fights in bgs with the prenerf psychic link. i think its just been right there on the cusp this entire time and now it got a small bump to its non meta hero talent, plus nerfs to direct competitors.
i think theres a phenomenon where the player base causes certain specs to appear to be under performing by simply not playing them and choosing the meta pick over it. you end up with top players just not on that spec, so it deranks on sites like murlok and drustvar.
Yes. 100%. Assa rogue was just as insane dragonflight season 2 & 3 as it was in s4, but people were just playing outlaw/sub instead.
They could revert the recent spriest buffs and theyâd be doing similar damage, because the buffs were mostly to weak abilities.
The most impactful buff is the 5% to DoTs, lol.
Yâall just didnât notice spriest was already doing good damage. More people are breaking theirs out after seeing the patch notes.

its how i feel about holy right now. if you look at those websites, youd think its trash. when i play it, i dont feel that way at all. now im just a casual andy right now that hasnt been able to push rating due to personal life, but its beyond me how Holy could be literal trash. just nobody picks it since you can press one button and be a disco

it was just an under the radar spec since we were preoccupied with nerfing disc, specifically ultimate penitence which youâd think is a touch of death at 100% HP if you read these forums.
All the priests were just running disc lol.
lol. What is an NPC spec? Iâm assuming you must play DK or War and got stomped by a demo lock , OR I am assuming you played a caster and tried to stand toe to toe and free cast vs a demo lock? Neither scenario is suppose to happen, but you let it happen and now you are mad.
If you are âallowingâ a demo lock to top DMG charts, regularly. That has nothing to do with the buffs. The damage gained from the buffs is minimal. Also assuming OP means PVE style because demo needs to stand still all game and hard cast spells, as if this is some easy mode in this current heavy melee zug zug meta.

No. Itâs damage was garbage before, itâs damage is now, sub-par in 3/4 cases.
I am top damage (sometimes) when I am left alone to free cast. No different than any other caster.
