This pvp experience is a joke, paying customers should demand better. It wasn’t like this in 2005.
Yeah, what if?
What if all the people who are complaining get told, “PVP happens on PVP servers,” and they quit? And then the world is healthy, and thrives, and people far and wide see that PVP is indeed happening on PVP servers, and come to join in the fun.
What if…
If Blizzard sees a substantial decrease in subscriptions then that’s sufficient evidence for them to decide something is broken. Whether you or I think the decrease in subs is a good or bad thing is irrelevant.
When all the alliance quit there won’t be world pvp because you won’t have anyone to pvp with or against.
OK then…
Demand what ? Demand that their choice of what faction to play is taken away from them. Demand that the majority bow down to the small vocal minority on the forums that are lying and saying they want balance ?
Who said I was demanding they switch factions? I am demanding blizzard fix the imbalance by making new servers that are faction balanced , and other solutions.
Why would people bother to post that they would like balance if they were lying? People obviously want balance if their making videos showing how bad the imbalance is.
All of which comes down to Blizzard forcing people to play one faction or the other (or get punished for playing the faction of their choice in the case of faction queues).
The reason I say people are lying is that if they were part of the majority faction they would not be posting here, they are upset because they are losing in PvP , faction balance has 0 to do with it.
Demand more? Why? This is basically par the course for Blizz. They stumble around like a child taking it’s first steps from day one. Even 15 years later and they can’t get it right.
At this point I’d be more afraid of any possible solution Blizzard would come up with. They have the absolute worst foresight.
why is that? you have an alliance chr?
Somalion is a troll who doesnt even play classic per his own admittance, i wouldnt waste your time.
Why don’t you go troll elsewhere , you don’t even play classic.
Doesn’t mean I’m wrong. I’m still right, you chose this and everyone knew it was going to happen.
Why don’t you have anything better to do with your life then troll a forum thread about a game version you don’t even play?
because I’m working, I post on the forums instead of playing while working. Right now these threads are flooding the forums so instead of talking about the game I’m posting in them.
So Blizzard shouldn’t try and retain their subscribers?
I love these forum threads because they really exemplify how ignorant the average gamer is.
Never said that, but doing things that will lose them more subscribers is not the answer.
You’ve been implying that this entire thread.
Many customers are dissatisfied at the state of the product they are subscribed to. Enough that the drop in subscription renewals and drop in daily log ins was enough to push Blizzard to speed up the release of BGs.
Clearly there is an issue if Blizzard feels like they needed to make a public announcement. Clearly Blizzard is a business, and is interested in retaining their playerbase. This means Blizzard should care about people who have quit, specifically WHY they quit.
In the post I replied to, you expressed the opinion that Blizzard shouldn’t care about the players who have quit. That is a clear indication of ignorance on your part. An ignorance that is widely shared by many people on this forum.
by many you mean very few.
The majority of players don’t have an issue with faction balance or there would not be a faction balance issue. Yes the few posting on the forums when they lose in PvP are loud but they represent a small portion of the PvP server playerbase
You don’t see the numbers, Blizzard does. Their actions have indicated that the numbers have dropped, otherwise they wouldn’t have pushed up BGs.
Clearly, Blizzard recognized a problem. I think i trust Blizzard over some forum rando who posts instead of works his job.
