Ya, as a solo DK, i noticed this too.
I normally ONLY solo tank if its something i cant nuke in DPS mode.
I was cruising through delves leveling up in DPS mode… finally had my first death in a T7 Delve so i thought “well ill just switch to Blood, i can’t die”
A few moments later…
I was dead
I immediately noticed the damage to me was far greater i. Blood and my DPS far less… i then switched back to DPS and got my T7 and T8 done. Going tank in Delves sux!
Realistically if you want a decent time in a 10 you’d probably be wanting around 630.
Keep in mind you have two years of this so you have plenty of time.
It’s suppose to be a challenge but as the expansion ages it’ll eventually become pretty easy.
Not fully true on 2 years, there is a lot to miss out on if you don’t finish it within the season. The season won’t last 2 years. Also because this is evergreen content each season there is going to be greater challenges. The ilevel of the delves will probably increase. So there is no out gearing them simply by waiting for the expansion to progress further. You have to use the gear available this season.
Anyway, so like always the best thing to do is disengage. I’m not going to bother with these until they nerf them. There are other games to play that are less aggravating.

I went into a 8 bountiful delve and got destroyed solo by just the first pack. Brann did no good at all. Even going in prot spec the empowered adds crushed me if even two other mobs happened to be in the group. One on one they took forever to kill. Each one was like a mini boss. I could kill Elite world rares faster myself than these things went down, and we have good for nothing Brann with us.
These will never be a balanced solo role agnostic experience. It just isn’t possible to do. By the time you have fun doing these. It will just be to farm transmog because you will need to out gear them.
Incoming damage is definitely overtuned in solo.
Brann is also a big fan of breaking CCs at times.

Although I’d imagine you’ll be able to group clear towards the end of the season assuming moderate play very easily.
I’m enjoying them. But I also like Torghast. Not everything has to be for every body.
And do you think my statement i somehow false? That better gear equates to more damage and more damage makes it so you won’t get hit? It’s not rocket science here, if getting hit is a problem and you got ranged solutions.
Don’t get hit is the best solution, but sense you pushed that away and plugged your ears screaming I gave you a different solution that you might try to accept yet still any logic applied you screamed and plugged your ears. But yes, a conversation usually has a beginning and evolves, but also it usually has two people that listen, not just one which in this case was me and attempting to change my stances to suit your needs. But lets be honest here no answer will ever resonate with you because you simply don’t want it to. You deeply want to believe the issue is the game so you can keep a fragile ego.

Wow is and always was meant to be an mmo.
I would like to see better grouping tools and creative ways for non-traditional groups to succeed. The trinity concept is holding the game back.
I think Delves could be a step in the right direction in this regard.
Yes not everyone is intended to complete it, although the issue should never be race, class, or spec. It should always be your skill level or gear. Considering nobody complaining yet has the gear to complete the challenge they are attempting. We still need more data to know if its a gear issue or not, skill issue we won’t know unless we seen videos of the people playing. Blizzard might have combat logs they can analyze though to help tune if needed.

Things evolve. They can either address that a majority of the player community is needlessly toxic by actually staffing customer service and GMs, or they can make solo play fun and engaging.
Except that no content designed for groups that drops Champion level and Heroic level gear in vault can be soloed except by very specific specs that already have mostly Heroic or Myth level gear. Yes, Delves can be completed with a group, and in many ways are easier with a group. But the fact is they are designed to be soloable, unlike every other source of the level of gear they provide.
And now we’re back to you not understanding a boomie’s kit and how it’s already been explained the damage is unavoidable…the basic math has already been pointed out: 24 million damage that’s unavoidable vs 4 million health, maybe 5 million with 20 more ilvl.

They created an environment where people got mean from to harsh a competition. Thus wanted solo.
Now they are encouraging people to group because solo is too hard.
They don’t allow the LFG tool for any progressive content. Thus it becomes a gate keepers paradise. If you have social skills and can handle the scheduling boss it doesn’t matter if you have skill now…. You are a top player!
