Delve rewards - Tier 8 versus Tier 11

Geer rewards cap at tier 8, both for vault and end chests. You only need to worry about 11:s for your 3x gilded crests if you aren’t doing keys or the raid.

Higher tiers award more undercoins and delver’s journey progress.

For Runed,
T8 gives 2
T9 gives 4
T10 gives 6

Not sure whether T11 gives 8 as I stopped after the Gilded ran out and switched to 10s. Also if you clear all the extra packs you get 3 extra runed, so 9 per run.

It wasn’t a total waste of time and effort, you got a few more runed crests running T11 than you would have running T8

My old raid team is really struggling to keep healers on the roster and I’ve been asked if I’d be interested in rejoining the team. I fell out of raiding for awhile because I absolutely do not enjoy M+ and refused to do it… which of course meant I was constantly falling behind the rest of the team.

With Delves, that I’ve been greatly enjoying, I won’t have that problem anymore. And since I just enjoy the Healer role in general, I plan on rotating through the different Healer specs as the season progresses.

Its a way to challenge yourself and progress skill.

I acknowledge that sometimes I’m Timmy, so I’m fine with progression so long as it fits my definition of it. It’s rather hard to define though; as long as it feels like everyone’s learning over time and the eventual kill isn’t a fluke/is much easier in following weeks, it’s all good to me!

I’m also only a heroic raider though, which to some around here doesn’t even qualify as ‘progression’. :dracthyr_lulmao:

I did LFR Jailer in SL, he had this MC effect that causes people to jump to their deaths off the platform.

Nobody bothered to break the effect on me, yea sure it’s LFR and I should lower my expectations of others but I HATE mechanics like that. Don’t force the controls out of my hands with unavoidable crap like that. I get that it’s to promote teamwork but they can keep it.

I have just been running all 11’s this week. Even though I’m capped on everything. Got nothing better to do anyways.

I agree with you mostly with LFG/LFR/PUGs because it gets very tiresome to have to start over again with a new group. But are you also against progressing in groups of people that you know?

I think once you get to a certain ilvl, T11s are pretty fun just running for either delver’s journey or crests. I do wish there was more variety in terms of mobs/mechanics though.

I didnt pay attention when doing 11s but i think you get more ruined crests and those epic curios

Technically more Gilded crests in the end. When you get higher ranks of gear for free, such as 4/8 instead of 1/8 then you don’t have to spend the crests upgrading it. That means you get to the trade in faster for higher crests.

I don’t know…

I enjoyed raiding with people at one point, non pugs or pugs. It just got to a point where I completely lost interest.

In guilds you end up with people that don’t want to pull their weight and it creates drama. I just try to avoid it all.

I think I support it, but I also realized that it’s not for me. I tried three different expansions of raiding with a guild, progging in groups just stopped being fun for me. I’m willing to admit part of that is me not being interested in opening myself up to a guild again so I’m just content with delves nowadays.

I hate M+ so I don’t do them, have refused to do them in TWW.

T8 needs to bump up the amount of Runed crest drops.

Yeah, a similar mentality kept me out of raiding for a long time as well. I don’t want drama or it feeling like a ‘job’. But one day early in S1 I met a couple of people who were doing a few M+ keys and they invited me to their guild raid, and it’s been fun enough for me so far. Finding a group organically like that instead of going through a ‘job interview’ makes it feel a lot better for me. :slightly_smiling_face:

Sounds like you’ve been through the whole song and dance already so I understand where you’re coming from. You seem pretty sociable so I’m hopeful that hasn’t negatively affected any meaningful relationships in-game.

You’ll want to spend your map on one of the three 11s (or do an extra one if you were particularly unlucky) for 10 more gilded. Other than that, no, just do 8s if gear/vault is your primary motivator.

Dude, my freshly dinged hunter was doing T11s solo at that ilvl. It’s hard, but not that hard, if you know what you’re doing and have a decent Brann setup. Pretty sure his healer with a tank Brann could do 11s just fine
