People are really mad about content they don’t do catered to people who don’t play with them. My delve loot is none of your business and you’re just angry casuals can have a decent ilvl with enough time put in solo.
Spoiler: I’m not coming into m+ with this gear. I like delves specifically because I can do it instead of m+. Worry about your own lane.
People don’t teach for the money, it’s a historically low-paid profession.
If all you care about is the loot and not the gameplay and feel forced to do content that’s easier for you to get that loot, have you ever considered you don’t enjoy the hard content in the first place?
The primary purpose of the game is having fun, yes?
Not only is Delve loot fine, the current iteration of loot progression is the best that has existed in recent WoW memory. Hero-track gear is achievable for almost all skill levels now, through the Vault if nothing else (Delve 8 and M+3’s). Some will get it faster than others, but Delve 8’s should be very doable by most players once they have the trivially-accessible Champion-track gear.
I think this will lead to a plateau of Heroic-track players who are all geared at roughly the same level midway through the season, despite their different skill levels, and I think this is a GOOD thing. Myth-track loot will still exist as an incentive to push content, but the primary divide will be between Myth- and Hero-track players, without all these extra silly gradatons.
Same here. I quit raiding after WoD. I was done treating wow like a job. I decided to go casual af. Delves are a fun way to do content without the sweaty chads and be stressed by timers or toxicity. It’s hilarious that they can’t stand to see us get an epic gear. They’d stop us at green if they could.
Nobody cares if solo players and delvers get good gear. It should just require high levels of solo or duo/trio effort since that’s what it was marketed as.
Endgame by definition means more difficult tests of skill.
This reminds me of carebears in EVE. When you dip your toe in our Wormhole chain for exploration loot and I decloak my Loki properly on warp in and catch you, i dont do it to be mean. I do it to test myself and teach you to be better.
Assuming i blow up your pretty Astero.
You are the Astero pilot right now. And youre whining.
Imagine being a cashier, but making more money than college graduates… Thats literally whats happening right now. Its not the fact that delves exist, rather they are objectively far easier than m+ AND grant you far better gear than m+ till you get to high m+. Ive soloed delves day one and run them at 8’s, far quicker than a m2 and far more rewarding and far easier
The more difficult a task is the greater the reward should be. Right now we kinda have the inverse and thats not ok either.
Why does this bug you so much? Who cares if the solo casual players enjoy some 616 vault pieces. They’ll be replaced next season as always. They won’t be hoping into M+ or raids and taking your spots, they will use the gear for world content to kill mobs faster, which makes their gameplay enjoyable to them. Why are you trying to be the gatekeeper to fun?
Its not casuals that stormed them, ran them into the ground during the first weeks, stop blaming casuals. Its the hard cores that will do anything and everything to rush rush rush that oh so important ilvl and ego.
I am a very casual player, Delves have been great and I have only done maybe 11 runs so far. I’ve only done a Tier 6 and it was hard enough for me, I don’t have time anymore to wipe on trash/bosses, study guides, wait on people, etc. I will be getting a lovely 603 piece tomorrow in the vault and that is my highlight for gear for the week. I love that Delves let me gear slowly to at least get a character that is not a soft noodle all the time with a sense of progression for me.
…did you have a stroke/become possessed to write this? i’m so sorry, but you begin a comparison you think is gonna go so hard with the words ‘this reminds me of carebears’ like bro that’s just not fair. too funny.
Delves give the exact loot blizzard said they would at blizzcon when announced heroic raid level.
The fact that blizzard followed through with it seems to have everyone in a tizzy for no valid reason other than to have some to whine about on the forums.
I think its funny you don’t recognize the similarities between High-Sec miners and the goobers who only hard cast a single spell crying about delves being too hard and the gross elitist players “crying” about them getting good gea.r
I already mentioned this in another thread, but the vast majority of BIS gear is going to be found on the most challenging bosses in NP. A 603 to 610 player geared up in delves won’t be able to do nearly as much dps as someone with a similar skill level that geared up in raid.
Although I agree Delve rewards don’t need to be touched it’s interesting to me how the WoW community casual side sounds just as obnoxious and belittling as the “Elitists” they dislike. It’s fine to enjoy your content but having discussions about the game be it casual or serious are equal.
Some have made decent points in why delve rewards should be changed i.e most the trinkets being subpar to even use and it just feels bad to get for the difficulty, which the tuning has been questionable for sure but is better now. Im more serious myself but I couldn’t care less what delves become I will do them if I feel they’re beneficial and enjoyable, happy for content but this silly “Mythic andy just too serious” mentality on the forums is ironic when they state actual points but are ignored over peoples incapacity to understand points that may not apply to themselves. A skill most lack on both sides of this playground argument.
